If you haven’t heard, July 23rd is this years BMX Day. Monster Energy‘s The Street Series will be throwing jams all around the world to celebrate. Today they announced that Alex Donnachie and some of the BSD squad will be throwing a jam in Adelaide down in Australia! Things will be kicking off at Noon in the Victoria Square, so if you’re in the area, make sure you mark your calendars now! They will be announcing the next 4 locations this week, so get stoked!

It has been a while since we’ve seen a BMX video from the Sewerside crew down in Australia, but they just dropped this raw cut of footage giving us a look at what they have been up to lately. Hit play for 12 minutes of music for sheep, awesome riding at skateparks, trails, street spots, DIY spots, pools and lake jumps, good times and a few laughs. These guys don’t disappoint!
The crew from ESPN Deportes, the Spanish version of ESPN, was recently in Washington D.C. While they were there, they caught up with Mike Hinkens to get his perspective on BMX and find out a little bit more about him. They also spent some time out cruising the street spots of the city where Mike put together some real solid clips. Take a peek!
The crew at Action Wheels threw their second annual Hosed Jam in Pennsylvania the other weekend. Above is a highlight reel of what went down. Although it looks like it was a scorcher, it’s obvious everyone had a damn good time! Check it!
“The 2nd Hosed Jam went down on May 28th all thanks to Action Wheels Bike Shop. It was a hot one, and a lot of people came out regardless of the all the heat. Let’s see what next year will bring. Devin Albino, Ryan Muschlitz, Jay P, Dylan Heckman, Aeden Fehr, Coty Gibson, Davon, and many more held it down and dropped some hammers.

The Krusty Krew sent through this fresh BMX video from Everett Burrell who was staying busy putting in work on the streets until he got locked up for a little while. Not sure why he’s in jail, hopefully it’s not because of a weird obscure law about 360ing over somebody defecating in a parking cone… But you never know. Either way, hit play and check out some real solid riding.
“Everett had plans to film a few more bangers for this but he got into some trouble and is currently in jail. He wants everyone to know he is doing alright and plans to ride harder than ever once he gets out.

Earlier today was X Games 2016 BMX Dirt Finals in Austin, Texas. Despite some wind, the rain from the previous days held out and they were able to let the guys throw down on the course. Above is a look at a highlight reel of the riding, a few of the crashes and plenty of examples of how Kevin Peraza ended up with the win!
“The wind was heavy, but fortunately it was a tailwind, so all the riders had to do was just pull back more and go higher. The dudes had three runs with two runs counting and, as you should already know, Kevin Peraza walked away with a highly-deserved gold medal…his first ever. Kyle Baldock definitely put on a show, but couldn’t stay on his bike for two of his three runs.” – Ride BMX

X Games 2016 BMX Dirt just wrapped up and after all the dust settled, Kevin Peraza ended up in the top spot with Ben Wallace and James Foster taking the top 3. Hit play to check out each of their best runs that lead them to their podium finishes. Plenty of amazing riding despite the wind being a big factor.
