Follow The Leader – Daily Cruise: Security and Snow in NYC

Billy Perry and Anthony Panza coming through with another Daily Cruise BMX video giving us a good look at what it’s like to cruise the streets of New York City! This time around this mix things up and hit the timer to see how long it takes before a spot is a bust and see if they can stack some clips and beat the snow storm that hit the East Coast the other week!

“The first part of this video was filmed on New Years so Anthony Panza and myself decided to try and ride high security spots in Midtown, NYC with hopes that there wouldn’t be much security. We got lucky at some spots and other spots we dealt with the usual security and concerned citizens. The second part of the video was filmed a day before a huge blizzard was supposed to hit. It was around 20 degrees but we got in some last minute street riding before the snow came.
Filmed mostly on a GoPro 3+ with a Zhiyun Tech Rider-M gimbal.

This tire in particular features a low profile, grippy tread with a U pattern along the sides and a smooth center pattern for minimal rolling resistance. Sneak Peek: Kink BMX – “Smut” Stealth Seat

Here’s a sneak peek look at a BMX Seat we caught a look at back in September during Interbike. This is the Kink “Smut” Stealth seat that will be hitting BMX shops and mail-orders this spring. The seat features a screen printed cover with a bunch of girls from the older style magazines way back before they showed all the goods. It utilizes Kink’s Steal seat system which works like a Pivotal, but the bolt goes from the bottom for a clean look!

Animal Bikes – Chris Silva Nub Nuts Promo

Here’s a promo BMX video featuring Chris Silva putting his signature Nub Nuts from Animal Bikes to proper use! Chris has been running these for a little while now, but it looks like they’re finally available through BMX shops and mail-orders worldwide. These little nub nuts replace your axle nut or bolt for female hubs with a longer, round nut or bolt that gives you a little something to grind on. This is a great option for those of you who want a little extra challenge when it comes to grinding or just don’t want to run pegs, but still want to grind. Check it out!

“I don’t believe I’m over-stretching when I say that no one else in BMX that has pegless grinds on lock like Chris Silva. Most the credit surely goes to Chris and his borderline obsessive attention to detail, but his signature “Nub Nuts” from Animal surely get some credit, as well. No need for a 17mm, either. Just use a ratchet and you’re good to fire out pegless backwards rails, hangers, and pegs to hard 180’s.
