BMX Inventions: Bikespin Seat Post
Over the years we’ve seen a number of unique inventions and ideas for ways to modify a BMX bike, some better than others. Some catch on, others disappear after the initial launch to realize it’s not catching on. With BMX, we’ve found riders tend to stick with tried and true versus outside the box ideas, which can make it tricky to break into the market with a unique concept. This morning we received an email for a new product called the “Bikespin Seat Post” that, well, lets you rotate your seat 360 degrees. Think of it like a crankflip, but for your seat. We’ll reserve our opinion on it and let you decide what you think of it for yourself. Hit play and check out some never before done BMX tricks.
“In Bmx as in Mtb, we were tired of always seeing barspins and tailwhips. After a year of work, we can finally present to you our invention that allows you to do brand new tricks: the Bikespin ? rotating seat post. We have already validated a lot of creative tricks but the possibilities are endless. Now we need you and your ideas to test the Bikespin! This test phase will allow us to perfect the product, thanks to your feedback. So if you’re up for a preview of the Bikespin, just register here: https://www.bikespin.co! Please note, places are limited!” – Bikespin

Woodward Tahoe – Bryce Tryon: The Road To X Games
Bryce Tryon recently spent a week at Woodward Tahoe as a visiting pro and to get some practice in for the X Games. Hit play to get some insight on how Woodward influenced Bryce and helped him get to where he is today, along with a bunch of riding clips!
“The Road to X Games
“When I ride my bike, things get real simple.”
Last week, professional BMX rider Bryce Tryon spent his week up here at Woodward Tahoe as a guest pro. He spent the week hanging with summer campers and dialing in new tricks that he wants to land in his first X Games on July 14th in Los Angeles, CA.
Looking back, Bryce started this BMX journey attending camp at Woodward West on his 10th birthday. He also attended his first X Games as a spectator that year, and now after a decade of hard work, he can’t believe that he will be competing as an athlete. His hard work and dedication to progressing his craft is truly an inspiration to the campers. They can feel the energy Bryce has when he’s on his bike, and he likes to share that electricity by inspiring the next generation of action sports.
