Scotty Cranmer – 100 Mile Challenge

November 16, 2020

The milestones continue for Scotty Cranmer! Over the past four years Scotty has been putting in a TON of work getting his life back after his accident, and we’ve seen a ton of amazing progress. Today, he released this video of him riding 100 mile on his BMX bike. We can count on a single hand the number of people we’ve heard of that have rode 100 miles on a BMX bike in a single day. Honestly, it would be hard for anyone to do this, and he was able to knock it out over the course of a day! This is amazing. Hell yeah, Scotty!

“I challenged myself with the my toughest test since my accident. I decided to try to ride my BMX bike 100 miles in a day! I have never attempted this and I am not sure of anyone else that has ever tried this before but I am going to prove to myself and the world that just because I’m a quadriplegic that doesn’t mean that my life is over!” – Scotty Cranmer

Vans X Cult “Trying Times” Trailer

November 16, 2020

Whenever Vans and Cult team up, you know it’s going to be something awesome. They just dropped a trailer for their new “Trying Times” video that’ll be dropping on Wednesday! This is a pretty short trailer that doesn’t give a ton away, but with this crew, you already know it’ll deliver.

Vans & Cult reunite for the new mild-melting film, Trying Times, which chronicles the experience of a shared crew of BMX riders road tripping from Southern California to Las Vegas. Managing to keep things light and easy despite the currently challenging landscape, the film captures the camaraderie, core tenets of each brand and the iconic riding that backs it up. The team, including Dakota Roche, Angie Marino, and Sean Ricany, kept spirits high throughout the project, which is punctuated with CULT’s bold signature aesthetic.

Despite the level of uncertainty that has permeated 2020, the project brought a new level of stoke:

“Through it all, the one thing that remains unshaken is the love and passion for what we do. We will continue by any means necessary. 2010 UNTIL THE END.”—Dakota Roche

Sunday – Julian Arteaga Signature 2021 EX Complete

November 14, 2020

Sunday Bikes released this promo video featuring Julian Arteaga taking one of his signature 2021 EX complete bikes out into the streets to show you what it’s capable of. We got really stoked right off the bat to see Julian rocking the brakes and putting them to good use on a few spots. Then he shows that the brakes are removable and goes brakeless and pegless, which also lead to some unique riding since normally he’s putting pegs to heavy use. We just want to see more footage to see what Julian can do with brakes! Either way, the bike looks dialed and this is a good watch. Take a look!

“Julian Arteaga’s signature EX complete bike in Matte Raw is available now at BMX shops worldwide. It features a 100% chromoly frame, fork, and bar, along with a pro-level Odyssey and Sunday parts package. Sealed hubs front and back and frame design upgrades like removable braking hardware give it a clean look. Watch Julian put it to work.” – Sunday Bikes
