Alex is one of those unbelievably talented young riders that has been blowing up over the course of the last two or so years. Alex is constantly getting better, and after getting over a recent injury, he has been back on it and better than ever. I figured with him filming for his Colony part, having his own signature frame and complete bike, and just an endless amount of energy and good coming from the kid, that it was time to shoot him some questions. John Thompson’s name has been popping up a lot the last few years with his involvement with the Blazeguard crew and as The Set’s filmer. Recently, John left The Set after a short stay with the brand and started focusing fully on the Blazeguard video again. I’ve been a big fan of his work so it was natural that I shot him a few questions about his career path, why he left The Set, and what to expect from the Blazeguard video. This week is lined up to be a bit of an unintentional Colony week with Chris’ interview yesterday, Steven’s today, and another that I’ll keep secret till it goes up by the end of the week. Last week, it was announced that Steven was added to Colony’s flow team up in Canada. If you have seen Steven’s riding, then you are well aware of his insane technical abilities that make it way too hard to try and figure out. Chris Courtenay Interview

Chris Courtenay is one of Colony‘s pros who has been getting back into the swing of things. About a year ago, Chris blew his knee out at the Red Bull Dirt Pipe contest and had been kept off the bike for about 7 months. Insight: The Hunt

About two weeks ago, The Hunt was announced to the world. This new video contest, similar to the Aspire videos from back in the day, comes with a hefty prize of $5,000 cash to the winner. After reading the interview on Defgrip, I still had some questions about the new project headed by Justin Kosman. Brian Tunney is one of those guys who I think is a real good model to follow when it comes to working in the media side of the industry. Brian has had all sorts of jobs from being a pro rider, contributor to magazines, judging contests, and even some time as a team manager. These days he’s full-timing it at ESPN handling their action sports content. I figured it would be cool to find out a little bit more about his line of work and get a little background on how he got to where he is today. I’ve been taking notice of Sean Pointing’s work this past year. His name has been popping up more and more through different edits and I finally got around to checking out his personal portfolio website (SeanPointing.co.uk). Needless to say, I was real impressed. I came to realize he’s not just another kid out there making web videos, he’s a filmer, editor, photographer, motion graphics designer, and more.
