Rest In Peace, José Wilton Oliveira “Drac”

The Brazilian BMX scene has lost a legend. Rest In Peace, José Wilton Oliveira AKA Drac!

BMX has lost another amazing person far too early. We just got word that José Wilton Oliveira was murdered during a robbery at his bike shop, Drac BMX, yesterday in São Paulo. Drac was a HUGE part of why the BMX scene in Brazil has become what it has, with the Drac BMX shop opening in 1997 and his ambition to help grow the scene through events, spots to ride and more. It’s people like Drac that have helped push and grow the BMX scene, showing everyone why BMX is amazing. Rest In Peace, Drac… You have left your mark on the history of BMX and will never be forgotten.

What happens when you challenge Scotty Cranmer‘s crew to a high air contest on a quarterpipe? Things are bound to get wild. Here’s a look at what happened when the guys set the bar and tried to see how high they could send it. You better believe things got up there and real interesting until a slam shut things down. “We did our first ever quarter pipe high jump competition at my skate park! The boys were having so much fun seeing how high they could jump their BMX bikes. Big Boy even did a flair over the high jump! At 4 1/2 he Matty attempted to go over the high jump and he lost control of his bike and it said him straight to the ground on his shoulder and his head.. It was the worst crash I have ever seen him take. He couldn’t breathe and it was scary but thankfully after a couple minutes he was able to get back to his feet like the tough guy he is!” – Scotty Cranmer

We’re not quite sure how a Bruno Hoffmann video goes missing, but apparently it happened.

Here’s a raw cut video Eclat just released of Bruno Hoffmann footage that was filmed during their “Mount Royal” trip to Montreal a while back. We are always so blown away by what Julian Molina has done on a BMX bike despite only having one leg. This Sosh Urban Motion part is absolute FIRE.

Sosh Urban Motion just released the 3rd place video that features Julian Molina putting in the work with Ferndando Marmolejo behind the lens of the iPhone 8. We’ve been watching Julian ride for a few years now, blowing everyones mind as he shows that nothing is impossible with only one leg. This is hands down the best video we’ve seen from Julian so far with some incredible riding from big 360’s and grinds, stretched no handers, flips and much, much more.
