Odyssey – Raindrop Camouflage Canvas Seat

Odyssey have released a new seat!

The crew over at Odyssey have gone back to their canvas source in Los Angeles to do a new seat for you to get your hands on. The Raindrop Camouflage Canvas Seat is made from a re-purposed vintage military canvas with a German Raindrop Camouflage pattern. The seat is available in Tripod and Pivotal versions that are slightly different in shape. Due to the material, no two seats are identical, either.

The Tripod version provides a wider base, and slightly beefier padding and shape than its Pivotal counterpart. It offers a cleaner look, while still being re-inforced for strength.

Los Angeles Street Jam Highlights

There’s always something good going on in the streets of Los Angeles. Here’s a video from a BMX jam that Anthony “Boy” Flores and Oriol Bike Shop threw last weekend. Plenty of heat from the Pros to the young guns on street spots and skateparks they hit up. Check out what went down!

Scotty Cranmer – Learning To Ride My Bike Again

If you have been following Scotty Cranmer‘s recovery, there’s no doubt that you have been amazed at the progress he has made over the past 9 or so months. Well, Scotty is finally getting to the point where he’s starting to play around with riding his bike again! The other week he coasted on the bike, now today he gives us a look at him working on pedaling on his bike! Hit play and check it all out. This is AMAZING to see Scotty back on his bike and getting closer and closer to being fully in control on that bike.

“1 million subscribers is right around the corner and we are so proud of that accomplishment! I made the announcement that I will be riding my BMX bike at the skate park for the very first time for the 1 million subscriber challenge. But I know it’s not going to be easy I need to be able to stand up and be able to hold myself up on the ramp and it’s only been nine months since I broke my neck so everything I do is difficult. In this video I practice riding the bike sitting on the seat and peddling for the first time since my accident and I am so proud of it! Etnies Have Teamed Up With Michelin Tires For New Marana Shoe

Anyone who has rode BMX for a while knows there’s nothing worse than picking up a pair of shoes and having them get completely destroyed after a couple of sessions. It also sucks having shoes that aren’t grippy or are stiff as a board. When it comes to rubber, there’s different things you can do to make them softer and grippier or harder and more durable, but it can be tricky to find a combination that gives you softer, grippy and durable all in one shot. Etnies decided it was time to try something new to make a shoe that had all the features that are needed for BMX and skating, so they teamed up with Michelin Tires to create an outsole that did just that! Below you can find a video explaining how the idea all came about and how they made the shoes! This is real interesting and we’re definitely curious to try a pair out.
