Colony BMX – How To Install Integrated Chain Tensioners

March 30, 2017

Alright, alright… We know this one is not rocket science, but it can be a little confusing if you have never worked with arguably one of the best innovations we’ve seen on BMX frames. At least we have seen a number of times kids asking “what are those screw thingys in the dropouts?” on Instagram, so there must be somebody who wants to know. The crew at Colony have released their latest How To video explaining how to properly install a chain tensioner in your dropout. This video does a good job of explaining how it works, so if you have always wondered why people like them so much, this should give you an idea! Take a peek!

“Detailed look into how to setup built in chain tensioners and how they work. Any questions feel free to leave in the comments and we will do our best to answer them.”

Tree Bicycle Co. Is Hiring – Brand Manager?

March 30, 2017

Tree Bicycle Co. BMX hiring

Well… Here’s a somewhat strange email that we just received from Tree Bicycle Co. owner, Sam Schulte. It would appear that Tree Bicycle Co. are looking to hire a Brand Manager? Except it’s a little more than that… You would be in control of running the entire company. So, if you’re looking for a job in the BMX industry and have always dreamed of running a BMX company, here is your chance. Below is a brief run through of the responsibilities and what your pay could be. It sounds like this job would be for somebody willing to risk it all to turn the company around and make it profitable once again. Not an easy task in the BMX industry. So, if you’re highly motivated and know what it takes, this might be for you.

“Tree Bicycle Co.

Sam Schulte Owner of Tree is offering a rare opportunity for a rare individual.

-The perfect person is someone who is well versed in digital marketing, branding, sales, thinks outside of the box, has owned or ran a business, etc.

-You must have BMX in your soul

-You can work from any location Worldwide

-Completely driven and motivated to pursue things you are passionate about, without the need for direction from a boss.

-Someone who can be given a plan and then execute that plan to the fullest extent. You will have complete freedom and autonomy in this role I only require that you produce the results.

-You will be responsible for running the entire company. You will be paid a percentage of the revenue you produce. At first you won’t be making much money but if you properly execute the plan I have laid out you have the potential of making a very nice living.

-I am only looking for someone who wants to put value out, and will work relentlessly to achieve the goals for Tree even when there is no reward for your efforts in sight.

You can email me why you think you would be the right person for the job at (subject: Tree Position) sam@treebicycleco.com Formal resume is not necessary, but give enough reason as to why you have the skills or drive needed. Or Call 314-352-1501 and leave a message.”

… Sounds like a challenge.

Woodward East – VIP: Dan Foley

March 30, 2017

Last summer Dan Foley spent a bunch of time at Woodward East working on a bunch of video projects from behind the lens. When he wasn’t busy filming, he managed to get in front of the camera to stack a few clips for himself. Here’s the latest VIP video from Woodward featuring Dan flowing around the place with a ton of style. As always, Dan doesn’t disappoint one bit with this one!

“There’s something really special about watching Dan Foley ride around camp. Every trick look so easy and smooth and he boosts airs that you swear he didn’t have the speed for. Either way, do yourself a favor and watch this one.
