Dorian Coleman – Hectic Epileptic

It’s pretty interesting what you can learn about somebody that you might have never had the slightest clue. We’ve been posting Dorian Coleman‘s BMX videos from the streets of Los Angeles for a couple of years now, and we never knew he had Epilepsy. Given, it’s not really something you would just come out and say. That changed today and we give Dorian a ton of props for putting himself out there and for still crushing it on a bike. Here’s his latest batch of clips for your viewing pleasure!

“Epilepsy discrimination is a real issue, primaraly intellectually and well as being viewed as a dependant (the list goes on) I keep it hidden from people for such reasons which is an issue in it’s self. I don’t drive so all clips except one are a result of me riding to each spot. This summers high temps landed me a two day hospital visit where I was hook up to an IV and EEG machine for heat exaustian that was overlapping my siezure symtoms.”

UK BMX Dirt Series Final – Lakefest 2016

The final stop for the UK BMX Dirt Series went down at Lakefest last weekend. The crowd was massive and there was a ton of amazing riding that went down. Check out the highlights!

Merritt – Justin Seiller “I Broke My Nose and Snapped My Leg” – Warning: Graphic

As I sit here trying to post this without squirming and flopping around like a fish because the sight of this stuff just makes me gag… Here’s a video Merritt dropped giving you a look at how Justin Seiller managed to snap his leg and break his nose simultaneously trying to grind a rail… Woof. Not going to lie, I almost fainted watching this one (you know, start getting super hot and dizzy…) and didn’t even finish it. So, shout out to Justin who managed to sit through this and edit a video re-watching it happen over and over again.

Bielefeld City Jam 2016

Freedom BMX coming through with a mix of footage from this years Bielefeld City Jam over in Germany! This contest was a big one with park, street and vert contests going down! Above is a highlight reel of footage giving you a look at everything from the AM’s to the Pro’s throwing down!

“The Bielefeld City Jam to the absolute required courses in the German Contest Calendar. It was also in this year again and then Fahrer_innen from all over Germany had gathered in Kesselbrink bike and skate park to go in the disciplines Park, Street and Vert at the start. We have fallen on Germany’s largest inner-city Skates investment into the fray to capture the best tricks of the weekend. Here is the result. Have fun with it!
Thanks to Benni Kopp, who not only organized a great contest, has a 540 palmed on Vert and organizes the world’s top Klowagen, but also has brought as a DJ on Saturday night the HipHop Floor at the official afterparty at Stereo for cooking. What a Thousand, oh what, what a Zweitausendsassa!

But Bennis Orgateam to be at this point not be forgotten. You’re great! Also wishes go out to Dennis Möller and Leon Binckebanck. Dennis was flown in from Freiburg with the remote bus and smashed to ten minutes after his arrival the kneecap. Ouch! Leon, however broke during Parkvorläufe at a Frontflipversuch from the rooftop tailbone. And as if that were not nice corrosive enough, he had on Sunday even the chauffeur play because he in his tour group has the only one driving license. We hope you have the ride unscathed!

Last, but not least, we wish the young man from the amateur class Park speedy recovery, which struck hard with a 360 over the box. But so bad it could not have been, because when he was carried on a stretcher lying by paramedics from the course, was a faster Dab for the audience there. Where’s the thumbs-up Emoji when you need it … ?!” – Freedom BMX

BMX Vert Session 2016

We don’t see too many videos from Vert sessions these days, and it’s a bummer because there’s some amazing riding that can and does go down on vert ramps. It looks like Vert is alive down in Brazil because the Brazilian Vert Series. Here’s some footage from a session that went down on the ramp recently. Plenty of style and rad tricks to take in. How NOT To Grind a Rail with Scotty Cranmer

Scotty Cranmer, Big Boy and Vinny Mannino decided to head out to a school for a little street session. The title of this one kind of oversells the video since it’s not really a how to, but Scotty does nut himself among a bunch of other tricks that went down during their session. Check it out!

“We went out to Vinny Mannino’s old school to ride some street and see what we could come up with! The school is actually in the same town that I grew up in and for some reason I had no idea that the awesome bank to rail spot existed! We started cruising around and I called Big Boy out on a Ninja drop and he was terrified! I did a lot of stuff that I was proud of on the bank to rail and I also did a gap across all the benches to tail whip off I also smashed the goods legit crotch shot trying to ice pick grind! Let’s just say i didn’t try to icepick grind it anymore! Vinny smashed his knee on his stem without knee pads and it kind of ruined his session. Me and Big Boy had a challenge against each other to see who could feeble grind across this gap first and I nearly grounded through my peg! It was hot as heck out but we still had so much fun riding!”
