Big Boy Versus The Sketchy Front Flip

It looks like Scotty Cranmer has been picking up subscribers on Youtube like it’s nobodies business! To celebrate 200,000, it was time to make Big Boy to learn how to send a front flip. Except this is probably the most unique way we have seen it done.. Needless to say, this ended up hilarious. Check it and see how it all went down!

“We made it to 200,000 SUBSCRIBERS! I would have never thought in the 9 short months of doing this channel that we would be where we are right now! I am so proud of it and huge thank you to everyone of you watching our videos everyday and we dedicate this video to you guys! So Big Boy came up to me and said that for the 200k challenge he wants to do a front flip! I thought he was kidding but after talking about it we came up with a plan that would give him the best shot of landing it! Big Boy needed a special ramp to do his style of front flip and that came as no surprise because Big Boy is a special kind of guy! So, We built a custom flat bank take off that would give him the right height and distance and after some serious calculations Big Boy sent the front flip and crashed pretty hard but he was determined and adrenaline fueled so he got right back up and got on his bike and gave the front flip another attempt and the result was epic! This video is a true testament of big boy evolving with this channel and I am so proud of him!”

S&M Bikes – Dan Norvell Doesn’t Give an F!

You can always count on Dan Norvell to drop some hammers when a new BMX video with him in it pops up! S&M Bikes just dropped some of Dan’s scraps for the S&M DVD that’s in the works. If these are his scraps, it’s safe to say his section is going to be absolute fire. Get ready!

Sneak Peek: Haro – Tyler Fernengel Signature Frame

It looks like Chad Kerley isn’t the only one getting a signature frame from Haro! Here’s a look at Tyler Fernengel‘s current setup with a prototype of his first, very well deserved signature frame from Haro!

There isn’t word on the name of the frame, but Tyler did release a few details. The frame will be made from 4130 chromoly with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 9″ standover height, 11.5″ bottom bracket height and 13.5″ chainstay length. It will feature a hydro formed top tube and down tube and investment cast dropouts with built in chain tensioners. It also appears, based off the photo, to have a hour glass head tube, an integrated seat post clamp and externally butted down tube. Overall, it looks like it’s going to be a real clean frame.

The frame will be available in 20.8″ and 21″ top tube lengths as well.

If you’re hoping to get your hands on this frame, you will have to wait a few months because it sounds like it won’t be available until closer to Christmas time in December. We’ll keep you posted when we hear more!

How To Bunnyhop A BMX Bike

Matthias Dandois and Alex Jumelin are back with another Can You Make It how-to video. This time around they’ve gone back to the very basics to teach you the key to the bunnyhop. This is one of those tricks that is actually kind of hard to learn at first, but once you figure it out it quickly becomes one of those tricks that you pretty much use in one way or another in every single trick.

One thing, probably on the salty side of me, that comes to mind is this trick is called a Bunnyhop… Not a “J-Hop” or a “Pro Hop”… Just a bunnyhop. If somebody tells you different, don’t trust anything that comes out of them because they don’t know what they’re talking about, haha. Seriously though.. Whoever came up with the “J-Hop” or “Pro Hop” names for the bunnyhop need to slapped…

But yeah, back to the point of this. Matthias and Alex might be a little hard to understand since English isn’t their first language, they both have a lot of experience and some serious hops. So, hit play and take it all in!
