Matt Closson put together this highlight reel from this years CentJam at the Centennial Skatepark out in Arizona. This video starts out with Lahsaan Kobza putting a hurting on everyone he came across in a game of footdown, a look at some of the races around the park, followed up with a ton of riding that went on all day long and into the night. Looks like it was a damn good time to us!
“The CentJam2k16 went down this year on May 14th at Centennial Skatepark. Last year during the BLNTD Vegas trip we threw a jam at my local park so I decided to make it happen again this year. It turned out to be bigger and better than I even thought would happen. We did a long jump, bunnyhop contest, foot down, best tricks, and a death race at the end. Keaton Harris and Kody Pollock held it down on the VXs for most of the night. The latest Game of B-I-K-E from Scotty Cranmer is a huge list of riders from some of New Jersey’s finest, some of Chicago’s finest, Sean Ricany and David Peraza. This is a very diverse group of guys and things get wild. Hit play and find out just who took the win!
“During the same night we filmed the Epic Game of add on we all wanted to keep the fun going so we decided to play a Game Of Bike with a twist! We took the same concept that I came up with for our Wheel of Misfortune series and applied it to the GOB! We had 4 team captains pick 3 riders each just like school dodgeball and then the captains had to name their teams! We had 16 riders total in this game and it was insane! So many laughs, so many tricks, and so many crashes! One of the best moments was when Ricky Hoffman decided to attempt a 360 for the first time in 4 years! It looks like Mark Burnett will have a signature top load stem from The Shadow Conspiracy hitting BMX shops and mail-orders soon. Shadow just released this sneak preview with a few details. The Odin stem will feature a 48mm reach and 36mm rise and it appears that it has a CNC machined Shadow logo in the top plate, recessed top for a flush fork compression cap, rounded back for knee friendliness and some additional machining around the sides for additional weight savings. No word on exact release date at the moment, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we hear more!
Merritt coming through with a fresh BMX video from their connect, Justin Seiller, who has been busy putting in some heavy work on street spots around New Jersey for the past few months. Justin is a grinding machine that knows all about dropping a stair set, roof or whatever he comes across.
