Freedom BMX just sent through a video they put together from this years Bielefeld City Jam over in Germany! This contest brought in a ton of the best riders over in Germany and, as you can imagine, there was a ton of amazing that went down because of it. Here’s a good flashback Friday for you guys. Almond Footwear re-released this video featuring Daniel Benson talking about his recent move to London and why he loves the city so much. It’s pretty crazy how much can change in five years, but how much can stay the same at the very same time. Check it!

“5 years ago when we started Almond we sat Daniel Benson down and talked to him about his recent move to the big city. Benson went on to produce and edit the legendary Albion Magazine and still lives and rides in London, keeping to his word.

The reason this never aired was because we didn’t really know what we were doing with cameras and editing. We just threw stuff together and consequently it was sitting on the chopping room floor for half a decade.” – Almond Footwear

“If you’ve never heard of cam girvin, then you’ve been living under a rock your whole life, and need to get out from under there! If you’ve watched this edit then you’ve already observed that cam’s riding is nothing but bangers! I’ve known cam for about 2 to 3 years now which doesn’t seem very long, but when your with him almost 24/7 then it feels like you’ve known him for 10 years. If there’s one thing I’ve noticed about him over these past fews years, it’s that the kid doesn’t have any fear! When he says he wants to do something he goes out and gets it done, and that’s what I love about him! He has nothing but potential! I know that one day he is gonna make it big! Not only his riding is gonna get him there but his attitude as well!

But I’m going to thank everybody now who helped me in making this edit possible. I’d like to give a big thanks to my buddy buck for helping me with all the editing questions and filming questions. I’d also like to thank Alex Profitt for helping me cover two angles on a few clips, and last but especially not least Subrosa for doing everything you did for cam and keeping him super stoked on BMX!”
