EX&HOP at Munich Mash 2015

Our friends over at Further released this video giving you a look at the EX&HOP contest that was apart of the Munich Mash contest the other week in Germany! Above is a video giving you a look at some of the riding that went down along with some insight into the event and a look at some of the non-riding things going on. This is a great example of why you should why you should throw a BMX contest! The kids look pumped on this!

Scot Breithaupt Tribute – Joe Kid on a Stingray

With the news of Scot Breithaupt passing away the other day, there has been A LOT of media coverage from the New York Times to the LA Times and countless others paying tribute to Scot and what he had done for the sport of BMX. Without a doubt, we would not be where we are today without Scot or any of the other guys who have done so many substantial things for BMX. Here’s a tribute video from the Joe Kid on a Stingray video for Scot. This really talks about how what he did all started, how SE Bikes became a thing and grew to be so massive and some of the things that lead to Scot having some hard times. All in all, this 11 minute video is an incredible story and will definitely make you appreciate everything he had done.

In all honesty, it kind of sucks that it seems like now that he has passed, that people are really taking notice of what he had done for BMX. Scot was definitely one of a kind, and it takes those one of a kind guys to push things and create something special. Rest in Peace, Scot. BMX will never forget you.

Florian Chazou X Etienne Lavarenne – DeFise

Not going to lie, the filming on this one might make some of you a little nauseous with how much it shakes and blurs. Despite the film quality being pretty rough, the riding that Florian Chazou throws down in this short but sweet edit is real solid. There’s line after line at Florian’s local skatepark and he ends things off with a pretty gnarly drop. If you can get past the filming, this is a BMX video worth taking a look at.

Ride On – Dimitris Panagopoulos

Dimitris Panagopoulos might have a hard name to say and spell, but it’s easy to see that this guy is an absolute shredder. Watch as Dimitris goes to work on some of his local street spots in Patras, Greece for Ride On BMX! There is spins both ways, grinds on all four pegs, tailwhips, barspins and more. All around, this video stays solid from start to finish. Well worth hitting play on this BMX video, that’s for sure!

Here’s some news we know a few of you have been waiting to hear. Broc Raiford‘s signature Anchor fork from Volume Bikes is OUT NOW. This BMX fork is made from 100% heat-treated chromoly tubing with a 163mm long one-piece internally and externally butted steerer tube with built in crown race. You can find a brazed on Anchor emblem on the bottom of the steerer tube, ultra tapered legs that are wider apart to fit 2.40″ tires and 28mm offset, 6mm thick, investment cast dropouts for strength and a clean look.
