I don’t know about you, but I would have the biggest boner ever if this was my backyard…
Jeff Martin on Skavenger

Skavenger have announced that Jeff Martin is now riding for them. I don’t know about you, but I always thought he would be a real good fit for their team. I’d imagine we can expect some sort of welcome edit further down the road.
Midway Skatepark Lock-In Edit
Here’s a look at what went down at the over night lock-in that went down at Midway skatepark in Wisconsin. Looks like it was a good turn out and a good time.
“Midway Skateparks 2012 BMX Lock-In was a big success and a great time! If you weren’t there theses are the highlights from the night. Great riding from everyone! Thanks to everyone who came out and thanks to all the sponsors, we couldn’t of done it without you guys.” – Zak Gruber
Joe Weist Edit
Here’s some footage of Joe Weist throwing down at a handful of parks and street spots. What a beast.
Photogallery: Chad Kerley’s Vitaminwater Invitational

Flash back about a month ago and word about a contest that Chad Kerley would be throwing started popping up on Twitter from a few of the people who got the first round of invites. A few days later it was announced that Chad and Vitaminwater would be inviting some of the top street riders in the world to The Bakery for a rider judged contest with $20,000 in prize money up for grabs.
Fast forward to this past weekend and 30 of the best riders in the world are crammed onto a limo bus cruising from the high rises of downtown Chicago into the secret location of The Bakery in a less than glamorous part of the city. Some of the riders had visited before but most had never been inside this playground of goodness. Walking into the building I was blown away with how amazing the spot was and just watching some of the guys start warming up the night before the contest it was clear there would be some amazing things happening within the next day.
Saturday came and once everyone was ready, the cameras were fired up for riders all over the world to watch the live feed of what was without a doubt one of the best contests to happen in BMX ever. I could go on and on about all the wild riding that went down, but I don’t think you want to read a book. So I’ll just keep it simple and say I can’t even begin process all the incredible things that went down and I’d like to give a huge shout out to Chad Kerley, Brian Kachinsky, Vitaminwater, Ride BMX and everyone that made this event possible.
While I was there, I pulled out the camera and shot some photos. Check out 70 photos from the event in this new PHOTOGALLERY!

1664 Summer Trip Teaser
This should be rad. Even though it sounds like the trip was rough, each section should turn out real good. Can’t wait for these to drop.
“Last summer we hit the road with some of the team for a week, between the Shake The Lake Bonesaw Jam, and the Rad 25th Anniversary Jam to get some of the team together, and to ride bikes. Everything didn’t exactly go according to plan on our destinations, and what we had initially wanted to do with the footage… Either way it was a great trip, and we look forward to the next one. We are going to be releasing each riders clips from the trip in web edits over the next while, so keep your eyes peeled for new footage from Isaac Barnes, Matt Desson, Jeff Evans, Andrew Schubert, and Jordan Dwan. Here’s the teaser from the trip, more to come soon.” – 1664
