New month, new Brian Tunney video! This past month was a busy one for Brian, but despite moving halfway across the country, he still managed to put together a video for you to check out! Hit play to see a bunch of fresh flatland clips between California and Texas, along with some bonus pupper clips!
“September was hectic. Actually, it still is. I got a new job in Austin, so halfway into the month, we moved from Lawndale back to Austin. And I started work two days after making the three-day drive. I know, complain much? (I swear I’m not.) It’s also prime allergy season, so even though the first half of the month was open for more riding, I was laid up with sinus pain, sneezing, etc. It was not fun. But, we’re back in Texas, I made it through the first work week and I managed to ride once since we’ve been here, in between moving out of Lawndale, driving to Austin, staying in one place for a week and then moving to another place today. Plus sinus pain, the desire to do more elbow glides and a nostalgic hankering to listen the Iceburn/Engine Kid split from Revelation Records en route to Texas.” – Brian Tunney
Vans recently gave Courage Adams the well deserved bump on up from the Europe team to the Global team, and it looks like they aren’t wasting any time getting the party started. They’ve just release Courage’s first signature colorway on the Slip-On BMX shoe and it looks awesome! As many of you know, Courage is originally from Africa before moving to Spain as a kid, and he has had some unique artwork paying tribute to that on his other signature products from Flybikes. They rolled that aesthetic into the shoe with a unique leather that has an elephant skin texture, along with his Elephant logo in a clear rubber sole! The shoe is the Slip-On BMX model with the special waffle sole that is designed specifically for BMX pedals, giving you plenty of grip and a longer wear life.
You can pick up the Courage Adams Slip-On BMX colorway for $75 $59.95 from the Vans Webstore in sizes 3.5 up through 13 now, or through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Vans worldwide as well! Check out full details and more photos below!

“Sunday street session with the crew is something that happens a thousand times for the seasoned rider. But it’s not everyday you ride a school, see a drone hovering above, and then get BUSTED by that drone which turned out to be a COP DRONE!! There’s a first time for everything and we have officially been booted by RoboCop! The cops were cool though and we kept it movin’ haha.
