Brandon Begin Pro Part
Whenever you see Brandon Begin‘s name pop up on a new video, you know you’re going to see something awesome. When he puts 3+ years into the filming side of things, you know it’s really going to be something special. Watch as he puts his pegs to work on every rails and ledge in sight! This is too good, so hit play and enjoy!
“Working on this video with Brandon Begin was a unique project for me. First off, we’ve been chipping away since 2018—which is like, “forever” by the filming for a web video standard of today. There’s even one clip from 2016—well before we were even filming for anything specific. But when it’s a passion project, time is a lesser nemesis. And good thing, too, because between Brandon’s sponsor needs, my other work obligations, ABDs, a global pandemic, and whatever else life threw at us—we needed all the time we could get! I’m a huge fan of Begin’s riding and I was excited to share some cool setups around LA that I knew he’d appreciate and figure out how to ride in the sickest way possible. So without further ado, here’s a three-plus year riding retrospective encapsulating Brandon Begin’s ever-evolving look and style. —Jeff Z.

Help Anahi Valentina Get Knee Surgery

Anyone who has wrecked their knee knows it’s always a rough go. It’s even worse if you can’t afford the surgery. Kink BMX‘s very own Anahi Valentina is currently stuck down in Ecuador with 3 tears in her meniscus that’s keeping her off her bike and unable to travel. She’s trying to raise some funds to cover the surgery and started a GoFundMe page to help get there. You can learn more about her knee situation below!
“My name is Anahi Valentina, I come from the city of Quito Ecuador, South America. A few months ago my right knee went out of place, causing the rupture of the internal meniscus in 3 parts, the solution to this injury is surgery.
The Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS) is saturated in Ecuador, so I have no alternative but to pay the money for the operation and physiotherapy, and for now in the situation that my country is going through I find myself without work or funds to be able to afford on my own.
My biggest dream is to be the best cyclist in the world, but for that I must recover as soon as possible of this injury, so today I ask for your help to be able to resume my life and continue training for my dream, time is of the essence for an athlete and even more the recovery time.
Thank you very much for your support and motivation to keep on fulfilling my dreams…”
