Dominic Trovato Interview
A while back Jeff K hit me up about why I hadn’t done an interview with Dom. I guess it was always in the back of my head about getting it done, and it was eventually going to happen. Well, that eventually is today. Dom has been a working man as of late and doing whatever it is possible to still make time for a good session his bike. It’s cool to be able to ask him questions since the Midwest BMX.net site was one of those really influential sites that got me into this web stuff. I still remember taking the i-frame code of their site for one of my old ones haha (I’m sure most of you are scratching your head). Erik Elstran Interview
The first time I met Erik, it was at a session at the now closed Renegade skatepark here in Minnesota. My jaw hit the floor… literally. I was blown away by the weird tricks he was doing all over the place. Fakies across the park to half body varials out. I just sat there and stared the majority of the time. We talked about doing an interview, and for some reason or another it ended up taking a really long time to pull everything together. It worked out great though, because now he has a BRAND NEW edit that I know will blow minds to go with this. “What I’ve done here is successfully perform the meticulous task of blacking out an etch-a-sketch with vertical lines. When you do this you can see a metal cross hair and this cute little drawing pad’s magic evaporates. If you don’t believe me try the experiment for yourselves; it’s an excellent usage of time.”

Alistair Whitton Interview
I had the chance to meet Alistair for the first time when I was in Chicago for the Dew Tour. He was playing super dad running all over the place with his kid. It was really cool to see a side of a pro you normally wouldn’t. I finally pulled my act together to get Alistair an interview, and I am pretty stoked on it. He recently got an injury that is keeping him off his bike for a bit, so this gave him a few minutes to kill. Quick Interview with Dennis Enarson
While I was at the Dew Tour there was quite a bit of down time. The people over at Matador had a booth set up for Dennis to do an autograph signing, and asked if I would be into asking him a few questions. I decided it wouldn’t be a half bad idea. I just had to wait a bit while Dennis fought off all the high school chicks swarming him. Seriously, the kid is a ladies man. I really didn’t have any questions in mind so we kind of winged it. Dennis probably had a million questions thrown his way that day so I wanted to keep it short. Here is just a few questions and some photos I snapped during the weekend there.

I’ve been getting quite a few requests to do these “On The Horizon” pieces again, so I’m on it. Subrosa has been in the game for a few years now and it doesn’t appear to be slowing down.
