The last few weeks have been awesome with the weather. I’ve been able to get outside more and more to ride and unless you live in California, Texas or Florida you probably know how good that feels after being cooped up so much this winter. Also, in those last few weeks, I’ve been running a DK Orbital front wheel. Here’s what I thought of it…

THE UNION

If you happened to poke around on the site a little bit the last few days, you might have noticed the new section on the navigation called “The Union.” Basically, this new section is just a little place for me to showcase and give a little back to the brands that have helped BMXunion and myself out since 2007 to get to where this site is today. I’ve pretty much talked to every brand I’ve done an On the Horizon or review with but I’m sure there’s a few I missed. Also, I’m still waiting on a few brands to send logos back over. So if I missed your brand, please feel free to email me. Also, keep checking back because this will continue to grow.
So head on over to The Union and see who’s down.
Shane McLellan Interview
When you spend as much time as I do watching edits and what not, you eventually start catching on to names you should be prepared to see a good edit from. Over the last few months, I’ve been seeing Shane’s name pop up more and more with some solid filming and editing. I also noticed that he spent a lot of time in Connecticut and California. So the curiosity got to me, and I asked if he would be into answering a few questions for me, and this is what Shane had to say. Check out a little bit about him, along with some of his edits, and then leave him some love in the comments!

OTH: Shadow Conspiracy / Sparky’s
Over the course of the last few years, The Shadow Conspiracy and Sparky’s Distribution have been becoming more and more popular in BMX. Not only do they have plenty of products and a killer team under the Shadow name, they have brands like Subrosa and Mutiny under the Sparky’s name. They also have a bunch of real good people behind the scenes keeping things going from day to day like Ronnie.
Over the last few years, I’ve had the chance to get to know Ron Bonner who is a huge driving force in these brands and I finally got the chance to talk to him a little bit about the workings behind these two brands. So check out what he had to say in this On the Horizon…

Troy Merkle Interview
Troy is the kind of rider that has a style that will stick in your head. As soon as you see somebody do something similar to him, you tend to think of him. I’ve wanted to do an interview with him for quite some time, and finally things worked out. I’ve come to discover Troy is a real positive guy, and seems to be a real nice guy because of it. Not only that, he has had a bunch of stuff going on lately with the switch over to the Giant pro team and the always entertaining edits he has dropped the last few months. Check out what Troy has to say and leave him some love in the comments!

Review: Skullcandy Headphones

A few weeks back I said something on Twitter about headphones and needing some new ones. It wasn’t really a request, it was more of a statement, but BMX team manager/legend Fuzzy Hall (Name drop) asked if I wanted to try out some Skullcandy headphones. I was into it and figured it would just be a pair, but ended up with a couple to try out. I figured this would be a perfect chance to do a review since I’m always using headphones. This is what I thought of the Skullcrushers, Hesh and Chops…

Toronto BMX Jam 2010 Photos

Alright, so I finally got a chance to upload a bunch of photos from the contest! It was a chaotic last week or so and have been playing catch up since yesterday. After the jump you can check out like 75ish photos from the contest along with a little story from the fun that was had. Also, make sure you check out the REPO on the Dig website that I put together.
