A lot of people were surprised when The Make announced they will be making frames and other goods this year. I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect but after talking to them I see why they are doing it. The Make is a small crew of dudes who are just making products to help them make their next road trip. I’m all about that. Small company, solid prouduct. Check out a few other goodies here…

Sometimes I feel like I’m into Odyssey and Sunday! a little too much. I think it mostly has to do with the people that work there. All the guys who work at Odyssey (and actually most companies) are real good dudes. Here are a few photos of what they got going on…

The Volume and Demolition booth was filled with people and pizza when I came through so I didn’t get to do too much talking. They had those online catolog’s come out not too long ago so it isn’t too hard to figure out what they have going on. Here are a few more photos and words…

I’m down in Las Vegas for the next few days for Interbike 2009. So far the plan is pretty loose like last year. I’ll be running around to all the booths bugging everyone, taking pictures, and getting the low down for what’s new and on tap for the next year. I’ll be posting between here and the Dig website. I’ll be hitting up NORA Cup, and that’s about all I have for plans. So check back tomorrow for updates once the show starts officially.
I’m hanging out with a bunch of people at the Dew Tour in Chicago, and randomly a guy says to me “Hey man, I’m Nick Steben”. The name rang a bell, but with all my concussions over the years, it just wasn’t processing right. After a little bit I remembered exactly who he was and it was all good. I’m stoked I had the chance to meet Nick. He is the kind of guy who is doing BMX right. Travels with whatever money he has, rips on his bike, and is in general just a real nice guy. I shot him some questions for you guys to check out with the help of Jeff DuPaul. Have a look at what he has to say, then leave him some love in the comments!

Animal has been a leading name in BMX for quite a few years now. They have been a brand that has stayed true to their image, and continue to progress in many ways. It isn’t a surprise that their name is synonymous with street with the amazing team they harbor. I shot Teague, their warehouse manager, a few questions for you guys to check out. Take a look, and leave Animal some love in the comments.
