It has been a little while since we’ve seen Guy Perrett‘s name pop up, but it’s clear he has been busy putting in work out in the streets. “We had been shooting photos for so long now and shapes were appearing in images we were shooting in the architecture and how the shadows were being cast and the idea was to do a project to capture those shapes as the key interest in the gallery we wanted to shoot,” Murray says.
“The idea of ‘Shapes’ is to capture the architecture and the geometric patterns that you find occurring in the city and showcasing those in the way a BMX would see his surroundings.”

Need a little BMX yoga for back pain? Here’s something to try.
When you’re younger you can ride for 8 hours straight every day of the week and feel just fine, but as you get older or have been riding for a while, the aches and pains can start to catch up with you since BMX is such a physical sport that literally uses every part of your body. As many of you older guys might know, back pain is pretty common and it can be debilitating. We have seen some tips in the past like Matthias Dandois’ Covid-19 BMX Workout to help keep you loose and in shape to help keep you riding. Ooti Billeaud decided to put together a video with a look at his BMX Yoga For Back Pain routine he does to help alleviate his back pain. If you’re feeling it in your back, or just looking for something to add in to help you keep your body feeling right, give this a look! Obviously everyone is a little different, so what might work for one person might not work for somebody else. Either way, it’s worth giving this BMX Yoga for back pain routine shot to see if it works for you.
“I’ve been dealing with incapacitating back pain from riding since I was 18. Sometimes it lasts for up to a week. It’s super frustrating as well as depressing to get perpetually laid up doing the thing you love when you’re not even eating shit and just doing your normal stuff. I’ve always followed the mindset that a strong core helps with lower back pain and it does but I recently discovered that two of the core workouts I’ve been doing the last 12 years have actually been making my lower back pain worse. After dealing with even more back pain than usual lately I went on an obsessive research spree looking up workouts and stretches to alleviate lower back pain only to discover that what I was doing was making things worse (Leg lifts and situps… don’t do toe touches either). I made this video to share all the things I’ve recently learned that are making me feel like I’m 15 again. It’s incredible and I’m so excited to share this with everyone.
