Wethepeople – First Look: Doomsayer Frame

The crew at Wethepeople have been dropping sneak peek looks at the new Jordan Godwin signature Doomsayer frame that will be coming soon. Today, they released a new FIRST LOOK FEATURE giving us a detailed look at the frame, its full geometry and one of the frames built up in a Canary Yellow color (seen above). Sneak Peek: Volume – Spring 2018 Voyager Frames

Get a look at the two new colors for the Volume Bikes Voyager Frame…

Here’s a little sneak peek some of you will be stoked on. Volume Bikes dropped these sneak peek photos of their new Voyager frame colors that will be landing at BMX shops and mail-orders in April! Above is the new Green with black and, what it appears to be, pink splatter, and below is the white with blue and black splatter with pink graphics that has a retro vibe to it. Both are pretty wild colors, so we would imagine it will peak the interest of quite a few riders out there.

There was no word on if there will be changes in geometry or other features from the original Voyager Frame that was released last year. We weren’t able to spot any changes from the photos, but we’ll let you know full specs and details as soon as they become available.

Sneak Peek: Volume Bikes – Boyd Hilder Venture Frame

Volume Bikes dropped a sneak peek look at the Boyd Hilder signature Venture frame!

We had been hearing bits and pieces about the new Boyd Hilder signature Venture Frame from Volume Bikes, but didn’t have much for info until now! Today, Volume dropped two sneak peek photos, along with some of the specs and details. The Venture frame will be made from fully heat-treated 4130 chromoly tubing with a double butted front triangle, ovalized down tube to resist denting and top and down tube gussets for additional strength. The main feature that will stand out are the seat and chain stays that have bends that are similar to ones you find on high end mountain, cyclocross and road bikes. The frame will come in 21″ and 21.25″ top tube lengths with a 75.5-degree head tube angle and 13″ chainstay length.

The Venture Frame, along with Venture forks, from Volume Bikes will be available later this month, so we’ll keep you posted as soon as we see it’s available! No word on price yet, but if it’s fully heat-treated, we would imagine it might be a few more bucks than a regular frame.

Flybikes – Courage Adams Savanna Line Video

Courage Adams puts his signature Flybikes Savanna line to work!

Here’s one we’ve been anxiously waiting to see! Flybikes just released this new video featuring Courage Adams putting his signature Savanna Frame and bars to work on the streets. Over the last few years, we’ve come to learn that Courage is an absolute machine and has some of the craziest bike control, balance and style that never fails to make our jaws drop. The way he puts a cassette hub to work makes us wonder why people even use freecoasters sometimes! This video is just shy of 2 minutes long and it’s loaded with some serious nose balance, manual lines and more. Add in some excellent film work and you have a BMX video that you will not want to miss!

Sneak Peek: Wethepeople BMX – Doomsayer Frame

Take a sneak peek look at the new Jordan Godwin signature Doomsayer frame from Wethepeople!

If you haven’t noticed that Jordan Godwin has been on fire lately, you’re completely blowing it. Jordan has been pumping out a ton of great riding footage lately, and appears to be bouncing around the world full speed ahead as of late. That’s why it’s not a huge surprise to see that Wethepeople are working on a signature frame for Jordan called the Doomsayer. Over the past week or two, Wethepeople have released some detailed photos of the frame, but didn’t release any specs… until now! What we do know is that the Doomsayer has a slight resemblance to the Battleship frame with a similar downtube hydroformed gusset and a hydroformed top tube gusset at the top tube / seat stay junction. The frame will have a very steep 76.25-degree head tube angle, 11.9″ bottom bracket height, 9″ standover height and a 12.95″ chainstay length with a 127mm (5″) tall head tube. Other features include curved seat and chainstay bridges and Investment cast dropouts with integrated chain tensioners. We don’t have full details but we’re sure there is some butting and other work going on with the tubing. The bottom bracket revealed a 20.75″ top tube length, but we would assume there will be at least a 21″ option as well. One other detail we noticed is that there aren’t any brake mounts on this frame. Given, this is a prototype sample, there’s a chance the frame will still offer brake mounts, but it’s fairly unlikely.

The Doomsayer frame will be released September 2018. Beyond that, we’ll just have to wait and see what Wethepeople are cooking up for this frame over in Germany as far as colors and more goes. We’ll keep you posted when we know more.

Fit Bike Co. – New 2018 Hoodbird Colors

Fit Bike Co. have released the new Blue and Green Morgan Long signature Hoodbird Frames!

The Morgan Long signature Hoodbird frame from Fit Bike Co. is now available in two new colors; Blue Dream and Army Green! Above is a video where Morgan builds up two bikes using the new frames, with the matching parts kits to really make the bikes pop!
