Let’s take a look at the new Black Magic frame from S&M Bikes!

The Matty Aquizap signature Black Magic Frame from S&M Bikes has been in the works for a little while now and it’s finally starting to hit BMX shops and mail-orders. The frame is made right here in the U.S.A by S&M Bikes with full Butted Thermal X 4130 chromoly tubing, a 74-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.6″ bottom bracket height, 9.30″ standover height and a 14.10″ – 14.75″ chainstay length! You can find a taller Integrated head tube, gussets on the top and down tubes, a Mid bottom bracket, integrated seat post clamp with an S&M Bikes logo, a wide rear triangle for 2.40″ tire clearance, tapered seat stays with end caps that have the S&M Logo, heat-treated 14mm dropouts and welded on chain stay brake mounts and guides.

The Black Magic Frame comes in Metallic Black and Gloss White with 21″, 21.25″ and 21.5″ top tube lengths, a weight of 5.4 lbs. and a price tag of $354.99 through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry S&M Bikes.

Mutiny Bikes – 2017 Comb Frame

The 2017 Comb frame is made from 100% 4130 Sanko Chromoly tubing with a 74.9-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.8″ bottom bracket height, 9″ standover height and a 13.2″ (slammed) chainstay length. The frame features a 125mm tall, 420 Baked heat-treated, offset thickness, Integrated head tube, top and down tube gussets, an integrated seat post clamp with a horizontal cut for better clamping, a Mid bottom bracket, curved seat and chainstay bridges for 2.40″ tire clearance, removable brake mounts and 6mm thick dropouts with integrated chain tensioners.

The 2017 Comb frame is available in 20.8″, 21.1″ and 21.3″ top tube lengths, translucent orange for the only color and a weight of 5 lbs. flat (20.8″) with a price tag of $330.00. The Comb Bars are two-piece bars that are made from 100% heat-treated butted chromoly tubing with a 9.2″ rise, 30″ width, 13-degrees of backsweep and 3-degrees of upsweep. The Comb bars are available in black only with a weight of 30 oz. and a price tag of $70. Sneak Peek: Mutiny Bikes – Post Matt Roe Frame

Mutiny Bikes giving us a sneak preview of their new Post Matt Roe Frame…

As some of you might have noticed over the past year or so, Matt Roe has taken a step out of the light of being a Pro rider to focus on other things like work and more. Matt still rides, he just chose to take steps to wind down his riding career to have more time for other aspects of his life. After that decision, Mutiny Bikes had discontinued Matt’s popular signature Conjurer frame. Due to the popularity of the frame, they have decided to release a similar frame with the same geometry, just a few other changes. Today, Mutiny gave us a look at the Post Matt Roe frame or the PMR frame that will be coming later this year. We don’t have full details yet, but we would assume that it will have a 74.5-degree head tube angle, 69-degree seat tube angle, 11.6″ bottom bracket height, 8.1″ standover height and an 13.25″ (slammed) chain stay length like the previous Conjurer frame. What we do know is that we are loving that translucent blue color!

We’ll keep you posted when we get full details closer to the release!

The WIFI V2 frame from Fit Bike Co is made from full 4130 chromoly tubing with a 76-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.7″ bottom bracket height, 9″ standover height and a 13″ – 13.3″ chainstay length. The frame features gussets on the top and down tubes, an Integrated seat post clamp, MID bottom bracket, wide rear triangle for 2.40″ tire clearance and heat-treated 14mm dropouts. This is BRAKELESS frame, so there are no removable or welded on brake mounts.

This full 4130 chromoly frame has a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.5″ bottom bracket height, 9.22″ standover height and a short 12.66″ chainstay length. The Bes frame features a heat-treated Integrated head tube with a laser etched logo, top and downtube gussets (internal and external for extra strength), a heat-treated down tube, integrated seat post clamp, heat-treated Mid bottom bracket, a gusset on the seat tube / seat stay bridge, curved stays for 2.40″ tire clearance, removable brake mounts and heat-treated dropouts.

The Bes frame comes in 20.25″, 20.5″, 20.75″ and 21″ top tube lengths, comes in colors of matte- translucent burgundy and matte black with a weight of 4.74 lbs. and is available through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Stress BMX worldwide now.

The frame features external and internal gussets making for a strong front triangle. Pair that with a heat-treated Integrated head tube, you can’t go wrong with that combo.

The hourglass shaped head tube features an engraved logo for a new touch.

The frame features an Integrated seat post clamp and a small gusset where the seat stay and chainstays meet the seat tube for additional strength.
