Here’s some news for the Mike Aitken fans out there! Fit Bike Co. have done a re-release of the Aitken 3.5 frame for you to get your hands on. As some of you might recall, the Series 3.5 frame was originally released nearly 12 years ago in 2008 (wow… time flies!) and was undoubtedly one of the more popular frames out. The Aitken S3.5 frame is made from heat-treated, butted and air hardened Supertherm 4130 chromoly tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.8″ bottom bracket height, 8.25″ standover height and a 13.65″ – 13.90″ chainstay length. The frame features an engraved logo on the head tube, a downtube gusset, tear drop shaped downtube, integrated seat post clamp, Mid bottom bracket, tapered seat stays, micro 14mm dropouts and removable brake mounts.
The Aitken 3.5 frame is made here in the U.S.A, comes in Burgundy and Tan colors with 20.75″, 21″ and 21.25″ top tube lengths. Do note that some of these sizes are sold out or very close, so if you’re trying to get one, get on it now.
