Demolition Parts Rasta Trooper Pedals BMX

It’s been a little while since we’ve seen Rasta as a color option for a BMX part, but like all things in BMX… What goes around, eventually comes back around! Demolition Parts have released a limited edition run of their Trooper aluminum pedals in this Rasta color and they’re hitting BMX shops and mail-orders now.

The Trooper pedal is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a slim, concave body for grip and 10 removable flush mount pins on each side of the pedal. Inside you can find 2 bushing and a heat-treated chromoly spindle to keep you spinning. These pedals weigh in at 16.2 oz. and will cost you $99.99, but they won’t wear out after a week like your plastic pedals.

If you like the color and have the cash, you can pick these up through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Demolition Parts or on their Webstore Now.

“This one has been kept under wraps for a bit and came to life due to a number of shops backing it with pre-books and hyping us up to do it. Like the 2006 original Nate Wessel Rasta colorway on our OG Team pedals, we brought the colorway back on our aluminum Trooper pedals. And yes, they look insanely good in person. Available as a limited edition, act fast they might go quick…” – Demolition Parts

Odyssey BMX Twisted Pro Pedals Green Swirl

It was only a matter of time before the guys over at Odyssey started adding color options to their Twisted Pro Pedals considering the original Twisted PC pedals came in about about a million colors over the years. They decided to give the Twisted Pro pedals a twist of Green and Black swirl this time around and it turned out real rad!

These pedals are available through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Odyssey for $19.99 now. If you aren’t into the colors, you can always go with the classic black.

3D Printed BMX Pedals?

August 26, 2017

It’s time for Jonny Lee to experiment with 3D printed BMX pedals…

Over the past few days, Jonny Lee has been giving us a little look into his latest 3D printing project, which he has decided to go with some BMX Pedals. This one turned into a 3 part series that spanned a few days from the initial design and testing to make sure it’ll fit a spindle and bearings, to getting the kinks figured out with the design, the 24 hour print time to make both pedal bodies and then getting the pedals dialed in and tested out. Up top is part one and below you can find part 2 and part 3 showing you the entire process. If you just want to see the finished product, skip to part 3 below!

Sneak Peek: S&M Bikes – GNS Pedals

July 28, 2017

It looks like S&M Bikes have been working on a new plastic pedal for you guys. Here’s a little sneak peek Chris Moeller posted during his trip over to Taiwan (not everything S&M and Fit is made in-house) giving everyone a look at the new GNS Pedals that are made from a nylon / fiberglass blend and have an oversized heat-treated chromoly spindle. Despite the oversized spindle, the pedals are wider but still maintain a slim profile. You’ll be able to use a 6mm hex and 15mm and 17mm wrenches to keep these tight on your cranks. It sounds like these will even be spec’d on a few of the 2018 Fit Bike Co. completes. Check out a few photos in the slides Chris posted on Instagram below…

4 photos of the NEW @sandmbmx GNS Pedals. Oversized heat-treated CrMo spindle, large/thin body, accepts 6mm, 15 and 17 plus wide adjustable wrenches. Long lasting nylon/fiber blend Grips your foot and Slides on all surfaces. Spec'd on @2018fitcompletes @ethancorriere and @brandonbegin Signature models.

A post shared by Chris Moeller (@moeller_chris) on Jul 27, 2017 at 10:08pm PDT

We’ll keep you posted as soon as these are getting ready to hit BMX shops and mail-orders worldwide.
