Scotty Cranmer – The Final Session At The Incline Club Before Closing Forever

January 3, 2018

Get a look at what went down during the final session at the Incline Club before closing its doors forever after 18 years in business…

When Scotty Cranmer announced that the Incline Club would be closing after 18 years, A TON of riders made their way to the park to catch one final session or get their chance to ride the park for the very first time over the last two or so weeks. The final session went down on December 31st and over 500 people showed up to ride and have some fun. Needless to say, a packed house like that brought plenty of crazy riding to the table. Check out this video from the jam!

“This video we take everyone along for the last session ever at the incline club the skatepark that my family has owned for the last 18 years. I have learned so many BMX tricks in this skatepark and I have also lived out my dream of becoming a professional BMX rider because of this skatepark but today is the last day the skatepark will be opened for all the bike riders, scooter riders, skateboarders, and rollerbladers to enjoy one last time. over 500 people came to ride together and as sad as it was to say goodbye to this place we all had such an amazing time together in this building one last time. We had one of the world’s best BMX riders from Australia in the skatepark to ride for all the kids and Big Boy did a record breaking 17 Flairs on the quarter pipe! thank you to everyone that supported our skatepark over the years!” – Scotty Cranmer

Jake Seeley and Grant Castelluzzo on Madera BMX

January 3, 2018

Jake Seeley and Grant Castelluzzo have made the switch from Profile Racing on over to Madera BMX and they’re kicking off 2018 with a bang.

Here’s some news we didn’t see coming! It looks like Jake Seeley and Grant Castelluzzo have made the move from the Profile Racing Pro team to the Madera BMX Pro Team. It’s not really a huge change considering Profile and Madera are owned by the same company, have their products made in the same building in Florida and basically share everything, but yeah! Hit play to watch Jake and Grant go to work on the streets to bring the news! We have a feeling we’ll see some big moves from Madera this year if they’re making moves like this already.

“ No, that’s not a typo, long time Profile riders Jake Seeley and Grant Castelluzzo are now riding for Profile’s sister company Madera. With both brands being under the same roof, the core support is the same, but now Jake and Grant, two prominent street riders, will be riding for the more street focused brand Madera. And the timing couldn’t be more perfect, because from the sounds of it, Madera has a lot in the works for 2018… ” – Ride BMX

Jordan Aleppo – The Bastard of the Abyss

January 3, 2018

Here’s a really interesting video where Jordan Aleppo opens up about the tough life that he’s had and how BMX kept him going…

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpBFOAxvkB8

It’s always pretty wild how you can see somebody’s riding for years and never really know much about them. We’ve been fans of Jordan Aleppo and his riding or a number of years now, but we had no idea that he had a rough childhood. This video was definitely eye opening as Jordan tells the story of his childhood and, how he got into BMX and how it has helped him stay out of trouble and put in the work to get a real job and more. Not only is this a wild story, but there’s a ton of great riding in this one toward the end. Highly, highly suggest you give this a watch!

“As some of you may know that I’ve recently took a trip around the world, although one of the reasons why I went on this trip was to finally make time to ride my bike. The main reason was to get away from my reality.

After spending 8 months travelling around the world on my own where people can barely speak the same language, really open my eyes and allowed me to see things from a different perspective.

I’ve spent my whole childhood listening to counsellors telling me where I’m going to end up. However something as little as riding a BMX bike gave me the opportunity to change the path that was paved for me.

The things I mentioned in this video may be only be a sliver of my childhood,
I’ve always hidden my past, my name, my upbringing, the things I’ve done and the things I’ve seen.
But now, I more than welcome the name that was once given to me.
The Bastard Of The Abyss.

Mutiny Bikes coming through with a dialed promo for their new PMR frame!

A while back we got a look at the new PMR Frame (Post Matt Roe) from Mutiny Bikes, now today we get a promo video featuring the one and only Matt Roe slaying on the frame. Sure, Matt might be on the “retired” side of things, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t still shredding. Hit play and take in a whole bunch of style and get a look at the frame. After you watch the video, you can check out photos of the frame and full details right here.

“Post Matt Roe, based on the geometry from Roey’s (@matt_roe) long running signature frame the Conjurer. As some of you know, Roey is currently focussed on other interests. However since we stopped offering his frame, a lot of our long term customers have wanted to buy a new frame but nothing we currently offered compared to the Conjurer. After speaking with Roey, we got his blessing on the project and thus the PMR was born.

Darryl Tocco’s Final Pro Video Part

January 2, 2018

Darryl Tocco dropping some fire to start 2018 off with a bang with his final pro video part for Kink and Eclat!

If there’s one rider we always get stoked to see fresh footage from, it’s Darryl Tocco! Between his incredibly perfect barspins, buttery smooth style and the magic he whips up with his brakes, we are always pumped on what he has for footage. Here’s a fresh banger to start the year off right for Kink BMX and Eclat you cannot pass up! Amazing riding, super clean film work and some great spots. Unfortunately, this is also a bit bitter sweet because Darryl will be “retiring” after this video to focus more on the film work he’s been doing for the past few years. It’s not the last time we’ll see footage of him, but it’s the last time as a Pro for both brands. Definitely a bummer, but we had a feeling this might becoming as he has spent more and more time behind the lens.

“Darryl has been focusing his efforts on the filming side more recently, but has still quietly been stacking his classic bangers over the last year, to put together one last section of timeless, clean, and original street riding. Darryl has been instrumental in everything we have been doing since 2006, and has played a huge role in our history both in front and behind the camera. He has traversed the world with us, documenting everything, and shredding along the way. This is by no means the last you’ll hear of Darryl Tocco; because of course his influence will always be prevalent, as he continues to produce high quality Kink video content full time! Cheers Darryl, to the past, present, and future!” – Kink

“When Éclat launched in 2008, Darryl Tocco was one of the first riders we added to the original team. His energy and unique style fitted exactly with the vision we had for the brand, and we knew we wanted him part of it. Almost 10 years later, Darryl continues to bring his effortless style and dynamic to every spot he touches. On top of all of this, his talents have translated outside of riding and have allowed him to evolve into an incredibly gifted film maker as you will have seen in our recent SOCIALITES video. We couldn’t be more proud to call Darryl a friend and thankful to have him part of our journey and involved in what we do over the years. Whilst Darryl is taking a step down from the PRO team he will always be a valued and respected member of the éclat family, and connected with the brand as strongly as ever. Here’s a video to remind yourself of what an awesome individual Darryl is, and how hard he rips it on a bike in his 2018 video which just dropped.” – Eclat

“Start 2018 off right with a heavy dose of that classic Darryl Tocco steeze. Filmed mostly within the last year, Darryl’s latest effort for Kink x Eclat is full of his unwavering two pegs, cassette, rear brake style that he makes look so good—the “Tocco” setup, if you will. With those high hops, damn fine looking barspins, and lots of speed… thanks for keeping it classy, Darryl.” – Ride BMX
