Here’s one we meant to post up the other week but completely dropped the ball on. Here’s a look at this wild new M-Line Sprocket that the crew at BRZRHD over in Russia recently released. This full guard sprocket has a TON of machining to not only save weight but looks amazing as well. This BMX Sprocket is CNC machined from 7075-T6 with a ton of detail and cut outs that give you a full guard protection, without much material elsewhere. One thing to note is that these sprockets aren’t designed for heavy abuse, and more for the looks than anything else. Brotherhood (BRZRHD) recommends using a different full guard sprocket if you’re trying to grind. Since it is made from 7075-T6, it’ll probably hold up fairly solid, it just doesn’t have that extra material that really makes for a good full guard sprocket to grind on. It appears to have a 24mm bore, so it should work with all 24mm, 22mm and 19mm sprockets as long as you have the adaptors.
The M-Line Sprocket is available in Bolt drive and Socket Drive styles, 25 and 28-tooth sizes, and black and Aluminum colors (Aluminum is currently sold out at the time of posting this) and can be found in the BRZRHD webstore for $75 (25T) – $77 (28t).
We are really digging the way this sprocket looks, but we’re sure it would be fairly easy to break if you put it through the same abuse as other guard sprockets, so this is definitely only recommended for the riders who are looking more for looks and some protection against the occasional slip up on grinds versus somebody doing pedal, sprocket and crooked grinds. Either way, this some serious BMX porn.
What do you think of the M-Line sprocket? Are you digging it? Let us know what you’re thinking in the comments below! You can find another sprocket mounted below, along with two videos giving you a detailed look below. Unfortunately the Aluminum color is sold out, but we would imagine they will be getting more in, in the near future.
