Source BMX – Battle of the Brands: Best of Street

The Source BMX “Battle of the Brands” video contest put Subrosa, Fiend, Cult and BSD head to head and it lead to some awesome videos. Here’s a compilation of the best riding from all the teams packed into a video for the street clips (although there are some park clips mixed in there). Even if you watched all the team videos, this is a super good watch. It’s easy to forget how many bangers went down for this. Take a look!

There has been a bunch of hype behind the BSD Revolution Hub that utilizes the Planetary clutch. We’ve seen a few videos explaining the hub, but BSD has just put together this super in-depth video explaining the hub, and the differences from a traditional cassette and freecoaster. Inside The BSD Revolution Hub

Curious what all the hype is about the BSD Revolution Hub that was announced last week? Well, you’re in luck because Brant Moore got his hands on one of the hubs to give you an in-depth look at it. Check out everything you need to know, along with a good look at everything going on inside the hub. As we’ve talked but, this hub uses the Free Night Planetary interals, but there are a few differences. So hit play and take a look!

You can find this hub through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry BSD worldwide starting in January. You can place a pre-order on Source BMX for example!

BSD – The Revolution Hub

BSD have released their new Revolution hub utilizing the Planetary internals from Free Night.

It looks like Free Night guys have begun licensing out their patented design on the Planetary Freecoaster hub they released earlier this year. BSD have released their new Revolution Hub utilizing the Planetary Clutch internals that make for a freecoaster that works like a cassette. This design has been something that multiple designers have tried to figure out for years (and failed at), and now it looks like it’s going to be widely available in BMX after this design fixed all the flaws in other designs. BSD is the first to produce their own hub with the design, and we would imagine we’ll be seeing others similar to how the KHE freecoaster internals are in damn near every freecoaster out right now.
