Colony BMX – Chris James Welcome To The Pro Team Video

October 18, 2017

Chris James has been added to the Colony Pro Team!

Here’s some news that we have a feeling a bunch of you guys saw coming! Colony BMX have given Chris James the bump up to their PRO TEAM. Chris has been on FIRE for 2017 dropping some insanely dialed riding at a bunch of contests all over, so it was something that makes a ton of sense. It’s official now and Chris shows you just why he’s been given the bump up in this welcome video that is no stop bangers from start to finish! This is a MUST SEE for sure.

“We are stoked to announce Chris James now being PRO for Colony. If you’ve ever met Chris you know he is a solid guy who can handle a bike in a very special way (by going as big as possible on everything he hits). This is Chris’s welcome to Pro video that we filmed in just a few sessions recently around a few of his favourite parks in QLD.

A Week In Brisbane with the Colony Team

October 15, 2017

Some of the Colony team recently spent some time in Brisbane stacking clips for a new video project. They just sent over this raw cut of footage that didn’t make the cut for the final edit, but as expected, there was plenty of dialed riding to take in from different skateparks and dirt jumps they rode. Check out what didn’t make the cut and then get ready for the final edit from the trip that we should be seeing soon.

“Behind the scenes footage of a week spent in Brisbane with Alex Hiam, Jayden Fuller, Chris James, Josh Dove & Polly. These clips are outtakes from footage we’ve collected for up coming projects.” – Colony BMX

Colony BMX – Alex Hiam “Bon Voyage”

October 12, 2017

When we first saw the title of this we almost though Alex Hiam was leaving Colony, but we quickly realized that wasn’t the way the title was meant to be interpreted since he’s definitely not leaving the team. Instead, we get a ton of amazing footage from his voyage to California putting down some amazing riding at skateparks and a little street. Alex is a total machine with crazy techical lip tricks to big airs and more! Hit play and take it all in!

“Alex Hiam spent some time out in California this summer and cooked up this sick video with Chris Bracamonte along the way. In between sessioning the CA culture and riding the Vans US Open in Huntington Beach, Alex hit a bunch of amazing parks in the LA area and shut them down with tech lines and big transfers like only Alex can. Alex is definitely on top of the park game right now and this piece gives you a look into how Alex’s riding has been progressing lately. Even though Alex suffered multiple injuries throughout the few weeks of filming, the end result is strong and entertaining as hell.” – Ride BMX

Colony BMX – Gnarcherfield Jam 2017

October 11, 2017

Colony BMX and Lux BMX teamed up and threw a jam down in Australia recently that looks like it was a huge success. They brought in a few DIY ramps and got a ton of riders from the young guns to pros together for a full day of good times and riding. Check out all action that went down!

“We teamed up with LUX BMX to put on the first annual Gnarcherfield Jam. The plan was pretty simple, we chose a park that was pretty basic but in a good location to be able to build some DIY setups which ended up working real well. We gave away a bunch of cash and everyone had a great time. We’re already hyped for the next one!
