Red Bull – Local knowledge: Matthias Dandois’ Guide to Paris
Red Bull released this new video where Matthias Dandois takes us on a little tour around Paris with Corey Martinez hitting up riding spots and a few other non-riding spots that Matthias likes to hit up when he’s home. After you check that out, you can see a few photos from the day on the Red Bull Website!
“There’s no place like home and that’s exactly how Matthias Dandois feels about Paris. With American rider Corey Martinez in town, we asked Dandois to show us, and Martinez, his favourite places and spots to ride in the French capital.
From the best bakery to get a croissant to one of Paris’ most famous skateparks, join Dandois and let him show you a local’s guide to Paris.” – Red Bull
Red Bull – The Big Rig Holiday
Here’s one from Red Bull that we have been waiting for all week! They recently piled a unique crew of riders together in an RV for a trip around the Northwest to hit up street spots. Watch as Nathan Williams, Reed Stark, Alex Kennedy, Corey Martinez, David Grant, Christian Rigal and Matt Roe all go to work on spots with their different styles making some some amazing riding. That rail that Reed Stark does is absolutely UNREAL. It looks like he took a serious beating but didn’t let the rail win! Hell yeah, Reed!
“The great outdoors… and I’m not talking about the leafy industrial estate out of town with the awesome rails that you don’t get kicked out of. I’m going on about forests, waterfalls and one hell of a big rig ploughing its way through the great Pacific Northwest!
The great outdoors… and I’m not talking about the leafy industrial estate out of town with the awesome rails that you don’t get kicked out of. I’m going on about forests, waterfalls and one hell of a big rig ploughing its way through the great Pacific Northwest!
The plan was simple, well, to be honest it was non-existent; take eight friends, both old and new, meet up in Portland, Oregon. Then pile everyone into a 40-foot-long RV and see what happens!
The heavily-laden RV consisted of a pretty eclectic list of names, including Nathan Williams, Reed Stark, Alex Kennedy, Corey Martinez, David Grant, Christian Rigal, and Matt Roe.
The ‘plan’ was so loose that we hadn’t even decided on which direction to take.
After some deliberation and many blank faces we set the compass for south and headed for Salem and Eugene and possibly some of the smaller towns along the way. We soon realised this was probably the worst idea we could have come up with…
Driving an enormous recreational vehicle into small peaceful towns with eight dudes hanging out of every window obviously didn’t go down too well, let alone help with finding spots and being able to ride them long enough to film a clip! Needless to say, we encountered our fair share of small town cop mentalities and bafflingly idiotic reasoning. But despite that we got some pretty amazing bike riding documented in between our troubles, and Reed got his crazy 180-degree curved rail in Eugene, so it wasn’t all in vain.”
In The Cut – United Tour De France
The United Bike Co. team recently loaded up and took a trip on over to France to spend a few days cruising spots and stacking clips! DIG just released this raw cut of footage featuring the crew going to work on spots. As you can imagine, with a crew like the United team, they had no trouble coming up with some amazing riding on the spots they did end up coming across. Hell, they even got Ian Morris to slide a big rail to get his heart racing. Hit that play button and take it all in! This is a BMX video that’s well worth watching from start to finish.
“Loading up a van with bikes and hitting the road with a (very) loose plan has been a staple in BMX since the beginning. For the latest United filming trip we did exactly that, driving from the South of England to the South of France with bossman Ian Morris, young guns Harry Mills-Wakley and Fernando Laczko… and picking up ‘The French Connexion’ of Alex Valentino, Tom Deville and Nico Terrez on the way and temporary Frenchman Corey Martinez. With kilometres covered, injuries sustained, new friends made, fields slept in and footage collected for their ongoing ‘Still United’ project, it had all the ups and downs of a classic BMX road trip. Le Bangers are being held back for the DVD, until then enjoy the rest of the footage collected over our week through France via our latest DIG ‘In The Cut’ video.

Cruisin’ and Flyin’ with Corey Martinez
Stoked on this! Here’s a short but sweet video Contrast Visuals put together from some time Corey Martinez spent cruising a few spots. They put a drone to good use and ended up with some unique shots as well. So good to see Corey back on his bike after healing up from knee surgery.
