Cult – Vans BMX Street Invitational

Last weekend Cult had a big squad riding in the Vans BMX Street Invitational contest. Here’s a video giving you a look at what Dakota Roche, Andrew Castaneda, Alex Kennedy, Sean Ricany and Kilian Roth all threw down from practice to the actual contest. Vans BMX Street Invitational 2016 – First Practice

The Vans BMX Street Invitational is going down this weekend and it looks like Chad Kerley, Nathan Williams, Dakota Roche, Bruno Hoffmann, Calvin Kosovich, Corey Martinez, Alex Donnachie and a few others have arrived and started cruising the park to see what they can dial in for lines for the contest. “The vibe today was mellow with just over half of the 20 riders set to ride in the first ever Vans BMX Street Invitational on course. And, with a very open practice schedule (a good thing) of 9am-6pm, the dudes were pretty spread out. So I kept it the same and simply put together a quick-hit chronological cut of what I filmed over the four hours I was there. Sorry about the wind noise; apparently my little wind sock can’t handle high-speed lines. But enough of my little excuses…it’s quite obvious that this event is gonna be dope. If you’re within driving distance of Huntington Beach, then you should be at the Vans park this Saturday. So be there…or at least hit us up for full coverage, yeah?” – Ride BMX

Remember when the Monster Energy crew rolled through Los Angeles a month or two back and they ended up with the BMX Day 2016 #BEAPARTOFIT promo? Is it time for a new BMX Frame? Did you hear that Cult have just released the 3rd version of Dakota Roche‘s signature Dak frame? The Dak V3 frame is made from Cult Classic blended chromoly tubing with a 75.5-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.6″ bottom bracket height, 9.25″ standover height and a 13.25″ – 13.65″ chainstay length. The frame features an integrated head tube, top and down tube gussets with a Cult logo on the top and Dak logo on the bottom, an externally machined Mid bottom bracket, Investment Cast seat post clamp, tapered seat-stays and S-bend chainstays to give you clearance for 2.40″ tires, an Investment Cast seat stay bridge with a Cult logo, 5mm thick heat-treated Investment Cast dropouts and removable seat stay brake mounts.
