Nowear – Dan Nielsen Beastmode Frame Promo

September 28, 2021

Nowear coming through with a fresh promo video featuring Dan Nielsen putting his signature Beastmode frame to work on everything from parks and dirt to street! As always, Dan delivers with some amazing riding you won’t want to miss! This video also gives you a look at the frame, which has that unique look Nowear frames have! Check out more details below!

“The “Beastmode” ride is made right here in the USA!
Lots of thought went into the design of the bike all the way down to the head tube badge sticker, it was drawn by Dan’s friend and teammate at Pusher Bike shop Preston. It’s a paw print in memory of Danimal’s beloved dog Zor and the Lion heads represent an organization Dan’s grandpa belonged to in his home state of Nebraska.

This frame is very versatile and performs great on Park, trails or Street.
Perfect combination of responsive, control and strength.
Nowear’s unique top tube design gives you both added strength and additional clearance to stretch your tricks further than you ever thought possible.
Here it straight from the riders themselves:

“The lower TT design has opened up room that I actually never knew I needed until I got on this frame. From folding tables to fun can can stuff. Its a simple idea that gives you extra room and enhances these timeless tricks It’s something anyone could have designed, but didn’t until now. Designed, built and used by real riders.” – Adam Banton

“The opened up design makes getting my disabled leg over on tail whips so much easier! It’s benefitted me in more ways than one! I was worried that because of the top tube, I would lose some control. But, this frame is literally the most stable, yet precise frame I’ve rode, it flips like an absolutely dream, the build quality is incredible and the control I have on this frame is unmatched! It’s perfect!” – Dan Butler aka Disabled Dan

Stock dimensions:
Head Tube 75.75
Seat tube 72
Chainstay 13.25 slammed
BB 11.6
Top tube 21″ Note: additional Top Tube sizes will be available next spring

Nowear – Dan Nielsen Signature Beast Mode Frame

June 19, 2019

Nowear BMX Dan Nielsen Signature Beast Mode BMX frame

Get a look at the Dan Nielsen signature Beast Mode frame from Nowear BMX!

Over the past couple years, Nowear have offered their Mike DiNello Signature Frame that definitely turned a lot of peoples heads when it was intitially released because in all reality, it looks nothing like 99% of BMX frames available these days. That frame had gone on to sell really well, and I’ve personally seen more than 100 out in the wild at contests and jams since its been released.

Today, Nowear hit us up to let us know they’re now releasing a second version that will be the Dan Nielsen signature Beast Mode frame that takes a lot of the features that the DiNello frame offers, but something that’ll fit Dan’s taller height and make it more ideal for hucking flips on ramps and crushing it out in the streets. Anyone that has caught a session with Dan knows that he absolutely SHREDS on a BMX bike and sends real gnarly stuff all the time. Dan definitely deserves this signature frame, that’s for sure.

Nowear BMX Dan Nielsen Signature Beast Mode BMX frame

The Beast Mode frame is made here in the United States by Dave Harrison over at Pedal Driven Cycles from full 4130 chromoly tubing with a 75.75-degree head tube angle, 72-degree seat tube angle, 9″ standover height, 11.6″ bottom bracket height, 13.25″ chainstay length (Slammed) and a 21″ top tube length giving you plenty of room to crank tables and turndowns or stretch a big can-can. The frame features that “Virtual Top Tube” design that really opens things up for those tricks as well. You can find an integrated head tube, Mid bottom bracket, your choice of removable brake mounts, welded brake mounts or a completely brakeless option.

You can pre-order one of the frames now for $469 – $489 in the Nowear webstore. The frame is available in Midnight Blue and Nuclear Translucent Green, but if you pay in full on the pre-order you can do any color you want! The frame weighs in at a lightweight 4.9 lbs. with the brake mounts.

Learn more about the new Beast Mode frame from Nowear below…

“Nowear believes in making the highest quality parts while supporting local and American jobs. These frames are manufactured in Georgia, then painted and stickered in Nebraska.

This frame is a great combination of being both responsive and roomy, allowing you to blast the big double full speed, and still crank the bike hard for that turndown or tabletop!

The virtual top tube design allows extra-foot clearance making countless tricks easier, and the impossible tricks, possible! You’d be surprised how much smoother and further you can take tables, turndowns, look-backs, any can combo etc when you have the extra room.
The slightly steeper head tube helps responsiveness and lessens the force on the front end helping strengthen the frame.

We offer our brake models with removable gyro tabs, welded single cable guides & welded chain stay 990 mounts so the braking force goes towards the tubing, rather than pulling it away. This also lets the cable travel a shorter & straighter distance making it pull more freely. It’s all about dialing-in your brakes to perfection.

We wanted every little detail to be special right down to the stickers! Dan’s nick name, “Danimal” has always had a super hero feel and he has earned that reputation for always going so darn big!

The model name shown one the head badge is one of Dan’s favorite sayings for when you go big, you’re going “Beast Mode!” This design was hand-drawn by fellow Pusher BMX Shop rider, Preston Solis.

The Paw print displayed in the middle is showing love for Dan’s best friend, his dog “Zor” (Rest in Peace)
The sticker kit was designed by friend and designer Tasha Lindemann “TJL Designs”

Demolition Parts – Dan Nielsen 2016 Video

September 20, 2016

We have been big fans of Dan Nielsen for quite a while now, and we’re amazed how low key and under rated he is, even though he’s an absolute savage on a bike. This new Demolition Parts video should change that because he cooked up some wild clips at a handful of skateparks and a bunch of street spots that you won’t be able to pass up! Hit play and get a look at what this guy has in the bag!

“Grass Roots rider, Dan Nielsen is our Colorado powerhouse that has been killing it forever. We first noticed Dan at our last Pusher BMX shop stop and has been apart of the crew ever since. Dan’s riding is the best of both worlds of super tech to f-n crazy! We’re sure you’ll be seeing a lot more from Dan soon…

Nowear – Danimal and the Back Tailwhip Challenge

August 31, 2016

I don’t know how many of you have used the back biking technique to help learn tricks like turndowns, tables and tailwhips, but for some it can be super effective… However what you might realize is that it’s pretty damn hard to hold the bike stabile for a long period of time before you fall over and give up. Dan Nielsen has been given the name Danimal because he’s a beast for a number of reasons, but it looks like he just added another to the list. Nowear sent this video of him doing an insane number of tailwhips laying on his back. If you’re looking for the Ultimate arm work out, grab a bike and try to beat this record!

Can you beat 52? Make a video and show us!

“When it’s cold out or your stuck inside you come up with ways to entertain yourself. Dan Nielsen likes to see how many whips he can toss on his back. Here’s 52”
