The full “Why Didn’t We Do This Before?” video from Etnies is now online!

Here’s a throwback that Snakebite BMX uploaded that I’m especially stoked to see again. This is the full “Why Didn’t We Do This Before?” video Etnies released back in 2006 from a trip the team (arguably one of the most legendary teams of all time) took from Austin, Texas on up to Wisconsin hitting up parks and spots along the way. This video is honestly part of the reason this website probably exists today since 16 year old me met these guys for the very first time at Jellystone in Wisconsin and it was one of those experiences that really stuck with me. If I remember right I met Ruben when I had just about all of his signature parts and shoes at the time. It was also when I was really getting into making videos, and seeing pros of this level ride in person definitely made an impact. Either way, this video is an awesome watch with a ton of great riding and that classic mid school riding that we just don’t get to see a lot of these days. Check it out!

Colony BMX – USA Park Trip (2008)

Check out this throwback video from a Colony trip back in 2008!

It’s pretty wild to think 2008 was 15 years ago. Here’s an old video from the U.S.A park trip that Colony where they bounced from the Animal House to the Skatepark of Tampa and more along the southeast coast. This has a bunch of th OG Colony crew throwing down and even after all these years the riding does not disappoint. Take a look!

This trip brings back some great memories. Along for the ride was Ryan Guettler, Steve Woodward, Dave Freimuth, Mick Bayzand, Liam Fahy-Hampton, Nick Richardson, Matt King, Toby Matthews & Clint Millar. Ryan Fudger was there to document it for Ride BMX Magazine at the time.

We travelled so much ground in such a short time but it was all worth it. Florida to North Carolina to Georgia & everywhere in between & back, all within a week. Amazing memories.

Sit back, relax & enjoy the ride with us, in a time in BMX that feels so long ago now.
But also, feels like it all was just the other day. BMX rules. Thank you.

The gems from Prody productions continue to flow! Here’s a look at what the original Colony team got into during a month long team trip in Australia and New Zealand. Last weekend the Let’s Roast X 4Seasons “Ain’t Dead Yet” Jam went down, bringing together a TON of riders for a weekend of riding and good times. The footage is just starting to pop up, and Dave Freimuth of all people was the first person to put together an edit from the weekend! There was a ton of OG’s in attendance, along with a few faces like Corey Walsh that made the trip for this. Sooooo bummed I couldn’t make the trip for this one because it looked like an absolute BANGER of a jam.

Here’s a really rad one that surfaced online featuring Paddy Gross putting his brakes and pegs to good use from Portland to Germany and a few other places. This also features front brake magic from Adam Banton, Axel Reichertz, Brett Banasiewicz, Clint Millar, Rob Nolli, Dave Freimuth, Chad DeGroot, Nick Harkins, Chris Rye, Tobias Wicke and Rick Moliterno. If that doesn’t sound amazing, then you’re blowing it! This BMX video is packed with amazing ramp riding and a little flatland from start to finish!
