Snakebite – Aaron Ross Podcast

The latest Snakebite Podcast has arrived. This time around Shad Johnson sits down with Aaron Ross to talk about a TON of different topics for nearly two hours. This starts off with his days of getting started with BMX and his love for crazy colors and goes from there. If you have some free time, hit play, kick back and enjoy!

“Welcome to our latest DIG x Snakebite podcast and this time round it’s Arron Ross, someone who has undoubtedly made a mark in BMX and as we remarked in our recent DIG 99.5 print interview, is someone who by standard BMX Pro terms is somewhat of an unusual case.
“He exploded into BMX some fifteen years ago and took over through his self sustaining fission energy. With radiant bikes that mirrored his personality, and the extrovertness of one thousand trails riders combined, Aaron hit his stride in the rare period where Props, magazines, AND web videos and social media held competitive ground. He became street riding’s closest thing to a celebrity; an enigma in an otherwise closed off micro universe. To say that Aaron “likes to talk” is indeed an understatement.” – DIG

“Well it turns out he can keep talking an talking and pretty much every bit of what he has to say it is well worth listening to. “We went about this podcast with Aaron a little differently than usual. We had so many people write in and ask questions that we decided to start with those and see where the conversation lead us after that. We go over his early years riding and his ongoing love for the BMX race track, how he got on FBM and what it was like to make the move to Sunday, his thoughts on filming video parts and why he those loves florescent bikes so much.” – Shad Johnson

Mutiny Bikes – Villij Days

Now this is what we’re talking about! Check out this fresh video featuring Mutiny Bikes‘ very own Robbo, Matt Roe and Dylan Lewis getting down at the Villij trails over in the U.K! You already know these three are style masters and there was no shortage of big, boosted tables. Check this one out! You will not be disappointed.

“If you’re a fan of Robbo then you’re no doubt aware of the dirt nirvana that he calls ‘Villij’ and home. It truly is a masterpiece of DIY with not one piece of machinery being used to create the endless flowing sculptures. The week after the Battle Of Hastings, Mutiny teammate Dylan Lewis went north to samples some of Robbo’s handiwork, along with BMX enigma/style overlord Matt Roe and the result was a banquet for the eyeballs! Arizona Pools Takeover – Joey Calderone and Friends

DIG coming through with a new video featuring Joey Calderone and crew getting down at a handful of different pools that they scoped out, out in Arizona! It looks like it was a productive year, because this is loaded with gold. Hit play and enjoy!

In The Cut – Devon Smillie & Larry Edgar in the UK

A few weeks back, DIG dropped a new video from the Flybikes trip Devon Smillie and Larry Edgar took over to the UK for some shop stops. Hit play to get a little behind the scenes look with some B-Roll riding footage and random antics they got into off their bikes. After you watch this, make sure you give the Destination London video a watch!

“A few weeks back we premiered the excellent ‘Destination London’ video from Fly Bikes’ UK trip featuring Devon Smillie and Larry Edgar. The beginning of the trip didn’t go quite to plan with our guy Fred Murray having to take a flight back home soon as he landed, only to return back to the trip a few days later, but while he was there he managed to snag a bunch of behind-the-scenes footage for this In The Cut video. Devon and Larry couldn’t really ride any differently but this was a breath of fresh air and the whole thing turned out to be super fun. Here’s a quick look at what you did’t get to see in the main edit. Once you’re done make sure you check some photos from the tour, including Larry going to the moon at Dean Lane! Steven Hamilton – Children, Dogs and Manicured Lawns

It’s always a good day when some fresh Steven Hamilton footage surfaces online. Here’s the latest batch of footage filled with BMX and skate clips on a ton of awesome spots, many of which most of us would probably never spot or think to ride. Enjoy!

“These days it feels like almost anyone can become a BMX ‘PRO’, but to leave an influential mark on BMX is a whole other cosmos that I can’t even comprehend. Steven Hamilton pretty much changed the way a lot of dudes ride today by doing his own thing, trying shit out, pushing the boundaries and all the time having a load of fun. His new edit is pretty much exactly what Steven is about; expect some skating, creativity, some pull up bars, and keep a look out for some of those classic Hamilton spots.

“Pro life passed me by. I’t s all good though, I’m still having fun. I’ve got a job and a family now, so that keeps me busy. I still like to ride, when I get the time. It can be hard finding people to ride with, but you know what? I have a lot of fun on my little solo missions. Main thing I’m happy about is, I’m still progressing. Whether it’s finding new spots or learning new skate tricks, it’s just as exciting as it ever was. No one said it was going to be easy, and at 34, I’m happy to be healthy and still on my bike.” – Steven Hamilton
