United – Nathan Williams “Still United” Files

March 22, 2017

The extras from the United Bike Co. “Still United” video keep on flowing. This time around we get just about 4 minutes of raw goodness from Nathan Williams to check out. These clips are all b-roll, crashes and extras that didn’t make it into the final part, but it’s Nathan… So “scraps” are still damn good by most of our standards. Take a look!

“If ever there was a riding perfectionist, it’s Nathan Williams. If it doesn’t meet Nathan’s sky high expectations of himself then it doesn’t get used, end of. Watching the extra clips from his NORA Cup winning Still United section is not your usual “leftovers video”… one of our favourite bike riders on the planet. What a beast.

In The Cut: Territories – China

March 16, 2017

Over the past two weeks or so, we’ve been treated two TWO very dialed videos from a trip to Ningbo, China that Bruno Hoffmann, Alex Kennedy, Ed Zunda and Dillon Lloyd took last year. Above is a raw cut of footage that didn’t make it into the final videos. This has lifestyle and riding footage mixed throughout giving an interesting look into what these guys got into.

After you watch that… You can check out both edits from the trip here.

Territories: Alex Kennedy & Bruno Hoffmann

Territories: Ed Zunda and Dillon Lloyd

“Back in October of 2016 we started a new DIG travel project. For the first one we teamed up with official partner brands WETHEPEOPLE BMX and Eclat BMX and selected two riders from each brand to accompany us to a city none of us had ever been to or even knew about. Ningbo is about 2.5 hours south of Shanghai in China and had more than enough good spots and interesting locals to make for an epic trip. ” – DIG

United BMX – Alex Valentino “Still United” Files

March 15, 2017

There was no shortage of footage from Alex Valentino when it came to filming for the United Bike Co. “Still United” video! Here’s a raw cut of B-Roll, crashes and lifestyle action that didn’t make the cut. We’re kind of amazed some of this didn’t make it into his part, but that goes to show just how good his actual section was. Hit play and check out just under 6 minutes of raw files!

Weird & Revered – At Home With Justin Schwanke

March 10, 2017

We’re always stoked to see some new footage from Justin Scwhanke. Here’s a new Weird & Revered video that DIG dropped featuring Justin getting down on his backyard ramp setup. As always, Justin came through with a TON of creative and unique clips that make for a super good watch. Get on that play button and enjoy!

“I filmed this video in my backyard throughout the summer and fall of 2016. Every session involved one camera, a tripod, an archaic MP3 player, headphones, and my ever-expanding list of trick ideas (most of which don’t actually work out). My usual audience is the assortment of birds and gophers who take up residence in the backyard. On occasion though, my neighbours may watch from afar in confusion. I can only imagine what they think when they hear grunts of frustration as I ride alone in the same line for hours on end.” – Justin Schwanke

Wethepeople – Territories: Ed Zunda & Dillon Lloyd

March 9, 2017

The second episode from the “Territories” trip some of the Wethepeople and Eclat team took to Ningbo, China is live! This time around we get a look at what Ed Zunda and Dillon Lloyd got into during their time exploring spots. As always, both of these guys bring some heavy grinds and smooth lines to the table, making for a real good watch from start to finish. It looks like Dillon also left his mark on some bamboo that had it coming. THis video is packed full of dialed riding and spots, with some super clean film work. Do NOT pass it up!

After you watch this, go watch Eclat Territories: Alex Kennedy & Bruno Hoffmann

“Back in October of last year we started a new DIG travel project. For the first one we teamed up with official partner brands Éclat BMX and WETHEPEOPLE and selected two riders from each brand to accompany us to a city none of us had ever been to or even knew about. Ningbo is about 2.5 hours south of Shanghai in China and had more than enough good spots and interesting locals to make for an epic trip.

Episode 2 features Ed Zunda & Dillon Lloyd (WETHEPEOPLE). The 1st episode in this series features Alex Kennedy and Bruno Hoffmann and the third episode will feature our ‘In The Cut’ behind the scenes footage from the whole trip.

Big thanks to Touch Bike Co for all their help.

Eclat – Territories: Alex Kennedy & Bruno Hoffmann

March 1, 2017

When you see Bruno Hoffmann and Alex Kennedy‘s name pop up, you should know by now that you’re about to see something wild. Eclat teamed up with DIG to send Alex and Bruno to China to see what the place had to offer up for spots for these two to slay! Needless to say, these guys matched the heat and dropped some serious hammers!

Episode 1 features Alex Kennedy and Bruno Hoffmann (Eclat) and we’ve got 2 more episodes from this seres to follow. The 2nd will feature Dillon Lloyd and Ed Zunda (WTP) and the third episode will feature our ‘In The Cut’ behind the scenes footage from the whole trip.

Low Profile – Leon Hoppe

February 28, 2017

If you haven’t caught one of Leon Hoppe‘s past BMX videos, you’re definitely missing out if you like technical grind combos and lines, big drops and spins. Leon’s riding has a lot of power and it has an almost beast like feel to it. Here’s his latest video filled with all of those things that should get you stoked to head out and ride.

Anyone want to see Leon and Justin Spriet play a game of B-I-K-E? These two definitely had some similar riding style that would be entertaining to watch.

If you’re liking what you’re seeing, check out more from Leon right here.

“Leon Hoppe is part of a new generation of highly progressive German riders who grew up in the web video era. Being constantly bombarded with daily injections of fresh BMX riding via the Internet, there is almost no trick that these guys hadn’t seen in a video, studied, learnt and then mastered over the course of a week, hungry for their next assignment on the Monday. Germany’s highly active and tight knit scene has taught Leon that hard work pays off, and over the past three years since, we’ve seen Leon transform from that unknown “really good kid”, to one of the most dialed riders out there right now. With an uncharacteristically dry sense of humor (for a German), and an incredibly positive outlook on riding, Leon is one to look out for in the future.” – DIG

Youth of Today – Justin Hughes

February 23, 2017

Here’s a fresh one featuring the grind technician known as Justin Hughes going to work on street spots around Montreal courtesy of DIG. Justin goes to work on every ledge and rail he came across mixiing lines with grinds, crnakflips, freecoaster action, barspins and more. Take a look!

“Justin Hughes has been in the Montreal scene for what feels like forever so you can quickly forget just how young he actually is. Dubbed as Dillon Lloyd’s protégé in his earliest years of riding – he’s definitely moved well beyond being Dillon’s wingman into the tech street shredder that he is today. Of the younger generation of Montreal riders, no one knows the streets better than Hughes does. With a big year in the works, it’s fitting he starts it off with this DIG Youth of Today piece” – Jeremy Deme
