Laczko Brothers – En Busca Del Sol

February 8, 2016

The Laczko brothers coming in hot with a dialed new BMX video from some time they have spent in Spain this past winter cruising spots in a few different cities. Both of these guys cooked up some damn good riding on beyond nice street spots. Plus, with Fernando Marmolejo behind the lens, you know it’s going to look good! Hit play and enjoy this!

“Monster Energy’s Fernando Laczko and his brother Antonio have played the old one two between Spain and Germany most of their young lives and after spending a big chunk of 2015 in cold and wet Germany they were more than ready to return to Spain in the Search For Sun – needless to say they got busy and made the most of that firey ball of energy. Filmed in Seville, Malaga and Ibiza by Fernando Marmolejo.

Urban Noise – Tokyo

February 5, 2016

Ride BMX dropped this STACKED video from the sessions that the crew who were invited to the Real Toughness contest in Tokyo this past summer had during their down time. When you can take a crew like this to a city like Tokyo, you’re bound to see something incredible. Needless to say, this is a BMX video we don’t suggest you pass up!

“With Devon Smillie, Tyler Fernengel, Bruno Hoffmann, Ollie Shields, Fernando Laczko, and Alex Donnachie in Tokyo, Japan, for the G-Shock Real Toughness contest a few months back, it would’ve been foolish to squander the opportunity to ride street in one of biggest cites in the world with such an epic crew. So we arranged some local contacts, found a cheap hotel, and stuck around for a few extra days after the contest. Tokyo is so vast, insanely crowded, and security is on it, so riding street is not easy. Fortunately, as far as riding and filming were concerned, there were no sponsor obligations or clip counts to stress—and the sessions that ensued reflected that. The locals fed us a steady diet of predominantly ledge spots—and that was fine with us. The next couple days were super chill, consisting of fun spots, strange food, and more than a few street beers. The only sore spot on the trip was when Alex rolled his ankle on the first day at the first spot. After he did one of the cleanest and lofty uprail-to-hard 360s any of us had ever seen, we knew he was warming up for the hard 540, but he took his ankle out on the next try. Alex had to sit on the sideline for the rest of the trip, but he managed to hobble out every day and kick it with the crew, help film, and consume plenty of Kit Kats and other assorted candies. Meanwhile, local 13-year old Japanese prodigy, Rim Nakamura, subbed-in for a few of the sessions and totally killed it. Which was awesome to see—literally, a kid, just roll right into the session with some of the most bad-ass pros and just start shredding. Thanks to G-Shock, Hiroshi Uehara, Ken Jungnickel, Rim Nakamura, and all the other locals we met along the way.” – Ride BMX

“Fernando Laczko and his brother Antonio have switched their home life between Spain and Germany most of their life and after spending a big chunk of 2015 in cold and wet Germany he was more than ready to fly back to Spain for some good times in the sun. Here’s a quick look at what they got up to, tripping between Malaga, Ibiza, and Seville and look out for the full riding video dropping on DIGBMX.COM on Monday.

Today they have released the entire “Below” section in one for your viewing pleasure! Hit play, kick back and get the perspective of each of the guys involved in this project.

In The Cut – United Tour De France

July 9, 2015

The United Bike Co. team recently loaded up and took a trip on over to France to spend a few days cruising spots and stacking clips! DIG just released this raw cut of footage featuring the crew going to work on spots. As you can imagine, with a crew like the United team, they had no trouble coming up with some amazing riding on the spots they did end up coming across. Hell, they even got Ian Morris to slide a big rail to get his heart racing. Hit that play button and take it all in! This is a BMX video that’s well worth watching from start to finish.

“Loading up a van with bikes and hitting the road with a (very) loose plan has been a staple in BMX since the beginning. For the latest United filming trip we did exactly that, driving from the South of England to the South of France with bossman Ian Morris, young guns Harry Mills-Wakley and Fernando Laczko… and picking up ‘The French Connexion’ of Alex Valentino, Tom Deville and Nico Terrez on the way and temporary Frenchman Corey Martinez. With kilometres covered, injuries sustained, new friends made, fields slept in and footage collected for their ongoing ‘Still United’ project, it had all the ups and downs of a classic BMX road trip. Le Bangers are being held back for the DVD, until then enjoy the rest of the footage collected over our week through France via our latest DIG ‘In The Cut’ video.
