Flybikes – Unexpected Indoor Session
This past summer most of the Flybikes team got together at their warehouse in Spain to spend some time cruising the local parks and getting some work done designing new products for the future. They caught a few days of sunshine, then the rain hit and they decided to convert the warehouse into their own indoor park! This video is a mix of footage from the nice days and the rainy days, and despite not the best weather, this video turned out real good!
Also, it’s cool to see the Coastin ramp get put to good use again! Check out How-To Build the Coastin’ Ramp if you’re interested!
“This past August after most of the team spent the weekend at the annual O Marisquiño contest in Vigo, Spain, we decided to have the team at our warehouse to spend some time working on new products and to have some fun on our bikes at some of the amazing local parks! We had a few good days of sunshine, then the rain started and we unexpectedly had to get creative to keep the fun going. We turned our warehouse into a spot to ride with ramps and ledges to ride! Here’s what Sergio Layos, Courage Adams, Teresa Azcoaga, Ruben Alcantara, Sem Kok and Pitu got into during the visit! Unfortunately Devon Smillie and Larry Edgar weren’t able to be here with us due to scheduling!
Despite a little rain, we still managed to have a great time! Enjoy!

Sneak Peek: Flybikes – Magneto Front Hub
A few months back we got aSneak Peek Look Inside The Flybikes Magneto Cassette Hub that has been in the works for about a decade now. Today the have released a little more info about when the hub will be available, along with the news that Flybikes will also have a new matching Magneto front hub and hub guards to go along with the Magneto Cassette! Their original goal was to have the hub available this summer, but it sounds like a few production delays has set it back to October. Either way, the Magneto Front Hub was a surprise since they haven’t mentioned that at all until now. The hub is based off the original Flybikes Classic front hub with some refinements and added touches to make it match the cassette. Either way, this hubset looks amazing!
“We have been getting a ton of emails and messages asking when the Magneto Cassette Hub will be available, and we are super close! Since these are being made in Europe from a smaller manufacturer, we’ve had a few delays and will have the hub ready to go early October.
We are also excited to let you know that we will be releasing a matching Magneto Front Hub to go with the Cassette and new plastic hub guards that will be available (not pictured) for front and back, drive and non-drive side.
We are very excited to get the Magneto Hubs out and we appreciate your patience! Good things come with time and this has been a very long journey that is almost complete!
If you are a shop or distributor that carries Flybikes and want to get a pre-order in, please get ahold of us today for full details!!”
