With Simple Session just a few days away, the riders are starting to show up for practice! The crew at Freedom BMX pulled out the camera to catch some of the action that went down in the first day of practice! Check out what went down!
Stuttpark BMX Session
The crew at Freedom BMX threw their “Freedom Awards” the other weekend over in Germany awarding some of Germany’s best BMX riders awards for their work in 2016. Prior to the awards, they threw a jam at the Stuttpark with a TON of riders from Pro’s to the AM’s. Here’s a look at some of the action that went down from Bruno Hoffmann, Felix Prangenberg, Eddie Baum, Robin Kachfi, Kilian Roth, Moritz Nussbaumer, Tom Schorb-Mergenthaler, Leon Hoppe and more! Looks like it was a hell of a good time to us!
“Ta-daaa! Here is our video of the Stuttpark session, which we had invited together with our homies from the artform BMX Shop in the afternoon before the freedombmx Awards to Stuttgart / Bad Cannstatt. We were not expecting the contest to be such a big boost in our wildest dreams. 91 drivers between 7 and 33 years of age were at the end – and there would have been more, but because of the very tight schedule, we had to somehow impose a registration stop and change the format, otherwise that would have become nothing with the party in the twelfth. Sorry for that!
Fortunately, the mood did not break, it was splendid all day. And good BMX was driven, of course, as you can see in the video above. Many thanks to all participants, helpers, spectators and our sponsors wethepeople, Sunday Bikes, Haro Bikes, éclat, The Shadow Conspiracy, Mankind Bike Co., Fitbikeco., Kink BMX, BMX Shop and TSG! In the park and later on the award ceremony, you have impressively demonstrated that BMX is healthy and lively despite all the world-wide spoofing events that have been circulating in the scene for several years. In short: Stuttgart was lit af! This almost screams after a repeat …”

Best of Freedom BMX 2016
Our friends at Freedom BMX over in Germany have had another super productive year with a ton of amazing videos from virtually every contest and jam that went down over there over the course of the year, plus a few bigger contests like Simple Session, the Battle of Hastings and more. They decided to go through their footage and compile the best of the best and pack it into one banger of a BMX video. There’s no doubt that the BMX scene in Germany is strong and this is a clear indicator of that! Hit play and take in all this amazing riding.

Throwback: Tobias Wicke 2012
If you Subscribe to Freedom BMX on Youtube, you might have noticed they have been uploading a bunch of their older videos to their Youtube channel. This morning we woke up to this Tobias Wicke video from 2012 that was too good not to give a repost. We haven’t seen much from Tobias this past year or so, but it’s safe to say he’s probably still absolutely DESTROYING everything he comes across from his super technical lip tricks to bombing down big rails and more. Either way, this is a great watch, so hit play and enjoy!

Wethepeople – Autumn Session 2016
There’s always something fun going on over in Germany these days. Here’s a look at some of the action that went down during the Wethepeople Autumn Session at the Skatehall Trier park.
“A freedombmxTV-video without a patented Markus-Wilke-Schwenk © in the beginning? What’s going on there? The video section of this website was unfortunately sick on the weekend, when the wethepeople Autumn Session in the project X Skatehalle Trier took place this year, so Axel Reichertz jumped in the short term. Axel not only organized the contests, but also took part in them, so he had little time to film. In between he has always kept it. What has been rumgekommen, you can look at the video above.” – Freedom BMX
ReUp – Game of HORST – Bruno Hoffmann VS Carlo Hoffmann
The guys at Freedom BMX have gone back and re-uploaded an old Game of HORST (Essentially a Game of BIKE) they did back in 2014 with Bruno Hoffmann and Carlo Hoffmann. Even though this is two years old, it’s still really good and a fun watch. Take a look! It would be pretty crazy to see these two go at another game of BIKE now, with how much Carlo has progressed.
Watch this: Game of BIKE – Bruno Hoffmann VS Simone Barraco
“In the winter of 2014 Bruno Hoffmann and his brother Carlo Hoffmann competed in a game of HORST in the project X Skatehalle Trier. The unrivaled xmx in issue 117 wrote that he had photographed a trick during the shooting Epic was that he surely does not happen again the next two years “.
Today you can convince yourself with your own eyes that the worthy gentleman chief editor has chosen these words well thought out and thus has not exaggerated a bit. Because after this video, the world will never be the same again. So curtain up for Bruno and Carlo Hoffmann!”
