Strictly BMX – Custom Colony Replica Builds

Yesterday we caught a look at the Custom Colony Tradition Build that Strictly BMX built to replicate Nathan Sykes personal bike. Well, it turns out they did a few more bikes to match the Colony Pro team riders bikes. Above you can check out a bike to look like Alex Hiam‘s personal bike, then you can check out one to match Jack Kelly‘s personal bike as well! Over the years we have seen a lot of talent coming out of Australia and it seems like there’s always a new guy to keep on your radar. Over the past two or three years we have been taking notice of Colony‘s Jack Kelly who has been quickly becoming one of our favorite street riders from down under. The other week he had his latest Colony video drop online and it was banger after banger from the streets. We knew when we were watching it that it was beyond due time to get ahold of this guy to find out just what he’s all about! Colony – DIY in Melbourne

It’s pretty amazing what a little quick crete and a few pieces of wood can create! Check out some D.I.Y spots all over Melbourne getting put to good use by some of the Colony team!

“We knew of a few drain spots that already existed here in Melbourne so Cooper spent some time fixing up a few along with creating some new spots and then invited some of the guys to come down and ride the spots for 3 days.
We had to do this during the middle of summer so that we didn’t get washed away and to be able to build at the spots. This all worked well besides the temperatures going above 40 every day we were out but all the guys were real good about it and still shredded it. Here is the video (and photos) from the project, hopefully we get to do another one next summer.
