“This is Kink BMX – Intervention. A culmination of riding from the entire Kink BMX team filmed over the last part of 2015. Filmed by Darryl Tocco, Dan Coller, and Calvin Kosovich in the Southwest USA, California, East Coast USA, Costa Rica, Barcelona, and Latvia. This was an effort to not only get the whole team together, and showcase Kink for 2016…but to also take some time to have fun, shed light on the intricacies of your favorite Kink riders, continue traveling, put a bangin’ soundtrack together, and hope that this project gets you motivated to ride each day you click play!
On top of that….We broke our own guidelines to the video…and present you a full scale, real deal, Dan Coller Video Part. Filmed over the course of 2015 and during the filming for Intervention….there’s not many words that can sum up just how crazy this riding is. It is something you need to witness in video…and hopefully catch a session with Dan in person, to truly appreciate and respect. Dan is pushing burly, fast street riding…at a scary pace.”

Kink released this new video featuring Jay Roe and James Steele cruising a few cement parks, backyard ramps and DIY spots around Vancouver and Seattle! This might not be the craziest video you watch all day, but it’s damn good!
“In May this year, Kink Team Manager Jay Roe and Kink AM/Canadien badass James Steele hit the road in Seattle, WA and Vancouver, BC. Just a couple older dudes trying to get a peanut, having fun, cruising and meeting up with some friends along the way. If there’s one thing that everyone that rides BMX needs to do at some point… It is to use it as an excuse to go somewhere. Traveling is one of the best parts about BMX with the endless possibilities of spots, parks, people to meet and places to see. It really doesn’t take much to find a reason to hop in a car with a few friends and mark a spot on the map and just go.
One person in particular who knows this is Kink‘s team manager, Jay Roe. Over the past few years he’s travelled with the team all over the world from the countless trips around the U.S.A to Canada, the U.K, Australia, China, Russia and more.
We figured with the summer coming up for most of us in the northern hemisphere, we would catch up with Jay and talk about what it’s like to constantly be on the go, with a full team to look after, and find out some of the things he has learned along the way. Let’s take a peek!
