There have been a handful of videos coming out lately that I have been excited about checking out. One of the perks of dong The Union is from time to time I get lucky and get the chance to check out these videos I’m excited about a little earlier than most people. Last week I received a copy of the new Kink “Squash It” DVD to check out. Obviously, this is one of those videos that I had been itching to check out because of a number of reasons like the stacked team, Darryl Tocco was once again behind the filming and editing and that almost infinite travel budget they seem to be working with that takes them to some amazing destinations. Combining all of those things can only lead to a good thing, right? Here’s what I thought…
Here it is… The anticipated edit from the team trip that Kink‘s Chris Doyle, Aaron Smith, Sean Sexton, Tony Hamlin, Darryl Tocco, Lloyd Wright, Ben Hittle and Jay Roe took on the massive cruise ship where they spent their days relaxing and visiting locations that we don’t see much of any footage from. This is what we call a vacation!
“Vacation time with the 2013 Kink Pro Team. We boarded the Royal Caribbean “Freedom of the Seas” for a week of paradise in Haiti, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Mexico. In between living it up on the boat and chilling out at unreal beaches, we rode whatever we could possibly find- which wasn’t much.

Haha, this trailer is awesome. Get a preview of what’s to come from the Kink team trip on the Royal Carribean. Sounds like they lucked out and had a hell of a good time in the process!
“This February the Kink pro team hopped on board Royal Caribbean’s “Freedom of the Seas” and enjoyed all it had to offer. In between swimming, partying, 5 star dinners, and bewildering the rest of the thousands of passengers, we managed to ride some untouched terrain as well. Originally planned as a trip aboard Carnival Cruise lines, they flat out denied us any chance of bringing our bikes on the ship, and forced us to upgrade to Royal Caribbean. As fate would have it, one of Carnival’s ships had major mechanical failure that week, and 4000 passengers had the worst week of their lives. We however, had one of the best. Piss off, Carnival.

Over the past 5 years, I’m pretty sure the Kink team have most likey stacked over 1,000,000 frequent flyer miles and completed multiple laps around the world. Check out Tony Hamlin, Sean Sexton and Jay Roe talking about what they’ve learned from traveling so much the past few years.
“Tony Hamlin, Sean Sexton, and Jay Roe talk a little bit about how they’ve spent the past few years traveling with the Kink team, all while we run through classic footage from 5 years on the road. Get out there.

Appleseed Cast- “The Road West”
Mogwai- “Letters to the Metro”
Chelsea Wolfe- “Sunstorm””
What happens when you load a few of the best in the business in the Etnies RV and send them on the road? You get one hell of a video. It’s amazing how packed each of the shop stops they did were too. So good. This is a MUST SEE for sure.
“The etnies BMX team set out with Blackout Distribution to take New England by storm. This nor’easter hit hard with a heavy crew including Aaron Ross, Tom Dugan, Tony Hamlin, Geoff Slattery, Jay Roe, Colin Varanyak, Joseph Frans, Sean Sexton and Alex Magallan. See more at etni.es/etnies-blackout-tour.”
Oh you know this is going to be sick!
“Kink bmx is proud to present the trailer for our upcoming dvd “Squash It”. Filmed in the UK, Thailand, Japan, South Korea, Vancouver, Montreal, and throughout the United States. Video coming Spring 2013.

Kink‘s Jay Roe and Darryl Tocco flew over to the U.K for a week of riding with Lloyd Wright, Phil Demattia and Ben Basford to film for their upcoming DVD that they are working on. Above you can find a fresh new edit from the trip that features the leftover clips they don’t plan on using in the full-length that are still real good. Check it!
