After six months off his bike due to injuries, it looks like Jed Mildon is getting back into the swing of things. Here’s a fresh video of him getting his first session back on some resi ramps and foam pits. There’s more lifestyle shots in this than riding, and an awkward scene of him pulling beef jerky out of his pocket, which were not sure if it was a product promo or if he was just hungry… Either way, stick around for the end because it looks like Jed is working on something new and it’s crazy.

Jed Mildon Interview
If you haven’t heard the name Jed Mildon before, you’re completely blowing it. Jed has been one of those riders that is all about pushing boundaries and setting records for years now and it’s been hard to not take notice. A few months back he was the first guy to pull a quadruple backflip on a BMX bike (and the video has nearly 11,000,000 views!) to go along with a handful of other firsts he has already done. With the Nitro Circus crew about to kick their world tour back up, we figured it would be a good time to catch up with Jed and find out a little bit more about him. Let’s see what he had to say!
Name: Jed Mildon

Jed Mildon – The Worlds First Quadruple Backflip
Watch as Jed Mildon and James Foster went head to head to pull the worlds first quadruple backflip on a BMX bike! These guys both took some SUPER heavy slams chasing this one, but it looks like Jed was able to pull it off after quite a few attempts. Who remembers when Dave Mirra pulled off the double backflip for the first time? Kind of crazy to think this is two of those in one go, even though the Nitro Circus ramp is absolutely nuts and built for this kind of trick. Watch him do it right here!
Red Bull – Dirt Dogs EP. 3 “More World Records Are Broken”
Watching this, all I can think about is why I laugh when soccer players fall to the ground and act like they’re dying after a little love tap. Jed and Gypsy are absolutely insane and this is proof that they are really not scared to send it! Check it out!
“After creating two of the biggest dirt jumps in the world down on the farm in New Zealand, all Jed Mildon and Gypsy have to do now is to start landing tricks over them.
Six months later, after a long season of travelling the world with the Nitro Circus, Jed is ready to start back with the crew. However, throwing the high-risk, technical tricks results in some brutal crashes and forces the boys to really dig deep.
Watch the video above to see the complete final episode of Dirt Dogs, a three-part series focusing on the building of some of the world’s biggest dirt jumps, and then breaking some records.
“I’m pretty pumped,” said Jed after successfully landing a frontflip over the massive 60-foot dirt gap and confirmed, “Yeah, that’s another world record.””
Red Bull – Dirt Dogs: Episode 2
Red Bull just released part two of Jed Mildon’s “Dirt Dogs” series where we watch him and his friends charge a MASSIVE 60 foot double to set some records! Despite a lot of rain, they were still able to get the jump to work! Check out the crew getting their first session on it!
“With the finishing touches complete, and some timely Kiwi sunshine, the moment of truth has arrived for Jed Mildon as he sets out to test the world’s biggest dirt jumps.
Will his hard work, and that of build buddies Gypsy and Paul Langlands, be rewarded with some clean jumps and world records over the huge 60ft first jump?”
Red Bull – Dirt Dogs: Jed Mildon
Red Bull dropped the first video in the Dirt Dogs series! This first one gives us a little look of what went into making these massive jumps happen and some footage from a warm up session at Paul Langlands. This is going to get wild!
“Jed Mildon was a man with a vision, all he wanted to do was to build the world’s biggest dirt jumps and break some records. As always though, the simplest ideas often require the largest amount of blood, sweat and shipping containers.
Having spent all his cash on his shipping container roll-in, Jed had to battle the Kiwi weather to set about building his dream jumps.
Check back Thursday 18th September for the next installment of Dirt Dogs.”
Red Bull – Dirt Dogs Trailer
Holy crap… Jef Mildon and his crew are absolutely nuts! Expect more of this from Red Bull soon.
“We’ve been excited about this for a while now, but we’re finally on the verge of bringing you the finished episodes of our Dirt Dogs project. The idea was pretty straightforward; let Jed Mildon and his mates build the biggest dirt jumps ever and film/shoot whatever happened next.
The reality was a lot more difficult to get to grips with, however. When it comes to building jumps this size, time, weather and physics can conspire against you.
If they could build them and if they could ride them, however, Jed and Gypsy could write their names into the history books. Stay tuned next week for the thrilling first episode of Dirt Dogs.”
Pastranaland – Team Warrior
It sounds like there was a little contest at Pastranaland recently with the Nitro Circus crew. Jed Mildon, Zack Warden and Cam McCaul all teamed up for some antics on two and 3 wheels. Take a peek at what all went down!
“Check out Jed Mildon, Zack Warden and Cam McCaul showing what Nitro style is really about as they rip it up around Pastranaland.“
