Marcel Gans goes to work on the streets of Germany!

It’s always awesome seeing a rider that’s primarily known for riding one type of riding, completely crush it in another. Marcel Gans went to work on street spots over in Germany, and s expected the guy can definitely throw down just as hard on street as he does on ramps. Hit play to take it all in!

“Marcel Gans is usually known primarily as a transition rider. But because he could use a little variety, he thought outside the box for his new video. And lo and behold, you can also ride BMX fast on the street!

The @ColonyBMXBrand rider filmed most of the clips for “No’Transition” during his master’s thesis. A fair amount of desire to switch off from the stress of university every now and then also played a role in the creation of this video.

The result is really impressive – and not just for a “transition guy”! It definitely didn’t hurt that Marcel changed his perspective and tried out an approach to BMX that was new to him. Although, his rims certainly have a different opinion…

Marcel Gans took a trip down to Australia!

Colony BMX‘s German team rider Marcel Gans recently took a trip down to Australia to spend some time cruising a ton of parks and the ramps at the Colony headquarters with some of the team! Here’s a look at what he got into during his stay. It’s safe to say this was a real good trip.

“Marcel recently spent a couple weeks in sunny Queensland whilst on vacation from Germany. Whilst Cooper was in Brisbane for a week they stacked a bunch of clips for this new video.

Colony dropped more footage from their trip to Toowoomba!

Colony coming through with a raw cut of footage from their recent trip to Toowoomba. The other week they dropped the actual edit from the trip, but they still had plenty of extra footage leftover to make this 9 minute raw cut with plenty of solid riding and good times. Take a look!

The Colony team hit up to the Toowoomba park!

The latest Roads Less Travelled from Colony has arrived. This time around the crew hit up a few different parks around the Toowoomba area down in Australia. As expected, the riding is awesome and these parks all look super fun to ride. Get on that play button and take a look at what they got into!

Colony – Marcel Gans Lost ‘N Found

Freedom BMX released this fresh edit featuring Colony‘s German connect Marcel Gans throwing down on a bunch of parks. This footage spans the past few years and is a real solid watch from start to finish. Marcel brings a good mix of tricks, speed and style to the table. Take a look!

“Marcel Gans’ motto in life is clearly visible on his helmet: Have fun, ride bikes! In addition, there should actually be another sticker with only one word on it: BALLERS! The German Colony driver is a fan of high speeds, which in turn entails a lot of airtime, as you can see in his new video. Alone the sentence about the hip in the bowl of the Cologne North Brigade at 1:58. Boy, boy, boy!

It doesn’t matter that most of the photos were taken three to four years ago, because good BMX riding is and will remain timeless. It is a pity, however, that some clips have been lost over time for various reasons. Well, VX Life is not always easy.

Fortunately, some of the material was saved and / or found. At this point, thanks go to David Schaller and Felix Prangenberg. But the best thing to do is take a look at the whole thing for yourself. We are definitely excited and are already looking forward to the next two video projects from Marcel, which should drop this year. YEWW!
