Interbike 2016 – S&M, Fit Bike Co. & United

Keeping on moving! We made a stop over at the S&M Bikes, Fit Bike Co. and United Bike Co. booth to take a look at what they had on display. There was literally a ton of bikes to see, making it a little tricky to check out all the bikes, so we suggest you check out the 2017 Fit Bike Co. completes separately to make sure you can see them all.

Here’s a custom build using the new green color for the Jordan Hango signature Hangman frame! Digging that green.

Not the best photo since they are in the case, but United have some new pads coming to help keep you rolling without as much pain.

The Mike Escamilla Caveman frame from United! This frame has an integrated bash guard that looks real interesting. We’re curious to see how this one does since the bash guard has been tried a few different times in the past and has struggled to take off, but maybe this will do it finally?

Tom Hooper colorway from United. Really digging this wrap.

The latest version of Nathan Williams’ Mothership frame from United.

S&M are working on something real interesting… She might not be very pretty (and pretty dirty from the outdoor demo), but this is something we’ll want to keep an eye on. If you’re looking for a MTB Dirt Jumper… This might just be for you.

So, that wraps up the S&M Bikes, Fit Bike Co. and United Bike Co. booth at Interbike 2016 booth. There’s definitely plenty to see from this one between the three brands.

Interbike 2016 – Mutant Bikes

Next up, we caught up with our friends from Portugal, Mutant Bikes to take a look at a few of the items they had on display at the QBMX booth at Interbike 2016!

The Bionic cranks which feature a unique 2.5-piece system where the splines meet in the middle of the bottom bracket with one long bolt to keep it tight.

Fluted peg with the Owl V4 front hub.

The Owl V4 cassette hub.

A look at the Fluted peg cut in half. You can see the ridges and how the female axle sits on the peg.

Kind of hard to see the hub guard, but the point of this photo is to show that it fits over the existing hardware.

The Owl hub features a unique “Fe-Male” axle that has a male end that fits into the dropout, with the female bolt going through that giving it extra strength than just a single bolt on the dropout.

The Peguard peg cut in half to show you how the metal and plastic sleeve fit, and how thick the integrated hub guard is!

The Estrella full-guard sprocket comes in 26 and 28-tooth sizes.

Carvella V2 sprocket.available in 26, 28 and 30-tooth sizes.

The new LRA 4 bars, 9″ rise, 29.5″ width, 12-degrees of backsweep and 2-degrees of upsweep. Features a unique cross bar to give it extra strength. Also available in a 2-piece version and colors of black and chrome.

So, that’s what Mutant Bikes had on display at Interbike 2016! There are a few more items that we’ll be giving you a look at in the near future, so keep an eye on the site for that.

Interbike 2016 – Cult

Next up for our trip to Interbike 2016, we made our way over to the Cult booth to take a look at what they he cooking up!

The new high end Devotion complete looking good!

Interbike 2016 – Deco

We bumped into Chad DeGroot at the QBMX booth where he had a few Deco items on display from the pedals to the stems, grips, seats and pegs. We have seen most of these items already, but figured it would be good to give you guys a quick refresh. One sneak peek that Chad did mention is that he’s doing a re-make of his old Mustache bars that he had from Primo years ago, with more modern geometry. We’ll be giving you guys a look at that soon since Chad didn’t have a sample on display. Take a peek!

Keeping the Interbike 2016 party going. Up next, we stopped by the Stolen Bikes and Fiction BMX booth to see what they have going on. Let’s take a look!

Interbike 2016 – Profile Racing & Madera

While we’re at the QBMX booth, we better get a look at what Profile Racing and Madera had on display. They had just a sample of their product line, so we focused on some of their new color options that we’ve seen pop up over the past few weeks!

Above you can find the new Dan Kruk signature Party Paint color from Madera! This is available on the Mast top load stem, the Signet full guard sprocket, V2 Cassette hub, Pilot V2 front hub and the Helm sprockets. Not the best photo, but the Madera Mast top load stem in the Celestial colorway that has been available for a few years. They just got a fresh shipment of the color in, so if you’re a shop looking to stock up… Now is the time.

Interbike 2016 – Fuse Protection

While we were at the QBMX booth, we took a quick look at some of the helmets, elbow, knee and shin pads that Fuse Protection had on display. If you’re looking for some padding, take a look!

Interbike 2016 – Flybikes

Making the moves. Next up, we went on over to the QBMX booth to take a look at the Fly Bikes product on display. They have been slowly starting to pop up on their Instagram over the past few weeks, but there are a few items we haven’t seen yet. Above is a look at the 2017 Devon Smillie signature Fuego frame in the new Flat Translucent Blue color. The frame will also come in a new flat black color.

Here’s a look at the new 2017 Geo frame in Larry Edgar’s signature Burgundy color. There will also be another Courage Adams signature color that will be a metallic brown they didn’t have on display. There are also some geometry differences between Larry and Courage’s frames. We’ll let you know when we have full details in the coming weeks.

The Ruben, Devon and Roey grips in a few different colors. They have clear red, dark blue Cola and Syrup colors, along with a new Tan color option.

The Tractor, Tractor XL and Mid bottom bracket and Roey stem in the new Space Grey colorway. This will be available on a few other parts as well in their line up for 2017.

The new Volcano stems that we also caught a look at the other week. Front and top load versions. The ridges to help give the the bars a little extra grip. You can get a better look here — Sneak Peek: Volcano Front and Top Load Stems

Here is one we know a number of people are excited for. The Devon Smillie signature Devon tire. It uses a similar style as the classic Ruben tire, just more street influenced. It also has the “Protection Line” sidewall which is a harder rubber to help with grinds. This tire will come in Tan, the new Dark Blue color, white and black and 2.30″ only.
