Interbike 2016 – Haro and Premium

Going over to Haro and Premium‘s booth at Interbike 2016, we were particularly excited to see something that we had been seeing some sneak peeks of recently, but weren’t sure exactly how good they would look. That would be the new Master and Sport Freestyler’s that take the retro look and mix it with current quality. Below you can get a look at both bikes!

The 2017 Haro Master is absolutely spot on with the look of the bike, mixing in a few modern touches. What is awesome is seeing the modernized version of things like the tires and hubs that are remakes of classics from the 80’s… Well, on top of most things on this bike, haha.

The Haro Sport, similar to the Master minus a few features, turned out absolutely phenomenal as well. Both of these bikes had us drooling and instantly wanting them for the collection. Big shout out to Haro and John Buultjens‘s for cooking up these badass bikes!

Premium – Chad Kerley 2016 Video

Although Chad Kerley has joined the Haro Bikes Pro team, he will still remain on the Premium pro team for parts! Today, we get a hell of a good BMX video packed with riding from Chad to remind everyone of that. Everything from the riding to the spots to the film work make this one a MUST SEE!

While he may of changed so much from that 15 year-old he once was, there’s no denying the fact that he is just getting better and better. It’s an honor to continue to have Chad on Premium Products, with his recent frame switch to Haro.

Chad Kerley On Haro Bikes

Well, here’s some interesting news. Chad Kerley is now riding for Haro Bikes, along with remaining on the Premium team where he will be running their parts like his signature CK bars, fork and tires! Chad will be getting a new signature frame from Haro, which we’ll be seeing sooner than later we’re sure. Below you can find a statement from team manager Colin Mackay about the news! We’re a little curious to see what the plan is with Premium since it’s been fairly quiet this past year and Chad was their only U.S pro team rider.

There’s also a bike check and Q&A with Chad over on Vital BMX where Chad talks about the changes and more.

“We also have a new announcement this year with the signing of San Diego’s, Chad Kerley to Haro – with the support of Premium for parts. Chad has been a long time friend of everyone on the Haro BMX team and he decided to make the move. Chad is a major part of our future. It’s a move that just makes sense!

Chad is a super-star with a huge social following. A previous X Games Gold Medal Street winner and he will be working on a signature Pro Model Haro frame. The expected public release will be mid-2016.”

Interbike 2015: Haro Bikes and Premium

Moving along, we headed over to the Haro and Premium booth to take a look at just what they had cooking up for this year. They have been putting a lot of focus on the Retro side of Haro for a while and it has looked rad, and it looks like they have continued with a few new items like a Dennis McCoy signature complete that is so badass. Premium In New York City

A little while back some of the Premium team rolled through New York City to see what kind of work they could put in on the endless spots the place has to offer. They ended up coming home with about 5 minutes of footage giving us a look at just how good the trip went. Highlight suggest you check this BMX video out because it’s loaded with gold.

“Premium got a small squad together and shacked up deep in the heart of Brooklyn for a week of cruising the city streets. From the sites and smells, to the highly fruitful spot search, everything was perfect. But back in California things weren’t so perfect for Chad Kerley. Chad had to cancel the trip last minute due to an injury, so in stepped special guest Mike Gray (Haro pro) who joined the crew of Brock Olive, Josh de Reus, Blake Peters, local cat Stephon Fung, and Premium TM/functioning 2nd angle lensman Colin Mackay. With a crew this diverse, we clocked some serious hammers, but also a lot of casual cruising lines through the many parks, plazas, alleys, etc that New York City has to offer. This is what BMX in NYC is all about, mobbing through the streets, over the bridges, in and out of the borrows, all with a big squad of your homies, and that’s exactly what we did.” – Ride BMX

Premium – Josh de Reus 2015

Premium just released this new Josh de Reus video that is just under 4 minutes of banger after banger from the streets. This BMX video has a ton of lines that are filled with grinds to barspin and tailwhips out, huge manual lines, a ton of nose balance and an ender that is so good and appeared to kick his ass pretty good trying to pull it! Hit play and take this one in because it does not disappoint!

“According to Josh, he spent the last year or so working on this but only shot on about ten of those days when he could sync up with Haimona stacking clips in Hamilton and Auckland New Zealand and a few recent ones with Callan in Perth, Australia.

Josh is 21 from Cambridge, New Zealand and rides a Premium Aurora and CK in this.

Premium – Brock Olive 2015

Premium just released this brand new video from their connect down in Australia, Brock Olive, who absolutely slays street spots with a ton of grinds and freecoaster action. Highly suggest you check this BMX video out!

“Brock linked up with filmmaker Troy Charlesworth and worked on this casually over time. They finished up with a classic part!

Brock rides a Premium Stray and a Premium Aurora in this and was filmed in Brisbane and Sydney, Australia.
