August 4, 2017

Profile Racing takes a look at the evolution of the Spline Drive for them…

Profile Racing Spline Drive BMX sprocket

Over the years we’ve seen Spline Drive take over from the first designs that Tree Bicycle Co. released and pretty much all brands have gone on to also use on a sprocket or two in their line up. Profile Racing is one of those brands that has produced some amazing Spline Drive sprockets and they’ve managed to evolve from the 19mm spline drive and include the 22mm and 24mm sizes that have become more common over the years. Profile Racing just released their latest Tech Tip that looks back at the evolution and how they’ve managed to create sprockets that accept spline drive and regular bolt on sprockets in all sizes. You can check it out on the Profile Racing website right here — Tech Tip: Spline Drive Differential (Freestyle)

Profile Racing – Ricky Moseley “Swell” Colorway Promo

July 13, 2017

Earlier this week we got a look at the new Ricky Moseley Swell Colorway from Profile Racing. Here’s a little promo video giving you a look at how the idea for the colorway came about, plus a few riding clips from Ricky and a good look at his current setup with all the Swell parts! Check it out, then view more photos and details right here!

“8 months in the works, Ricky Moseley (with the help of Ron Plumlee from Love Bmx) created an image montage of several of his favorite, personally shot wave photos.
Once the samples came back, we combined different image ratios, on different base coats, with different complimentary colored cones, to finally come up with this combo.

Available to order from your local bike shop on Thursday, July 13th, 2017, this is Ricky Moseley’s “Swell” colorway.

Available in RHD and LHD Mini and Elite Hub Sets, 48 and 53mm Push Stems, and 25t and 28t Sabre Sprockets.”

As some of you might know if you follow Ricky’s Instagram, he’s big in photography and focuses in on shooting photos of waves, so Ricky and Profile did a wrap of Ricky’s photos on the Mini and Elite hubs, Push stem and the Sabre Spline Drive Sprocket.

Each of the items will be available through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Profile Racing worldwide, and direct from the Profile Racing webstore starting July 13th, so if you’re digging this color, get ready… We have a feeling these will go fast!
