FBM – Maiden America Tour 2016: Trolley Bikes

Some of the FBM, Profile Racing and QBMX crews loaded up into the FBM bus for another Maiden America tour! The first stop was Trolley Bikes in Wilmington, Delaware! Hit play to check out some highlights from the session out from of the shop and the local skatepark. Plenty of good times were had, that’s for sure! Expect to see plenty more from the trip soon.

Profile Racing – Chad Degroot Amongst Intercontinental Ballistics

Imagine flying all the way to Russia for an event, just to have it get cancelled? We’re not quite sure why the contest got cancelled, but we do know there were a lot of pros that made the trip that weren’t very stoked. Chad DeGroot made the trip over and decided to make the best of a shitty situation and get a few clips in for a quick Profile Racing. We’re not quite sure why the Russian military had all this heavy duty equipment at the same place as the BMX contest, but I guess they wanted to make sure things were secure, haha. Check out what Chad cooked up.

“What’s happens when you get flown to an event in Russia and the whole thing gets cancelled?
You find the most interesting place to ride and make some fun.”

Profile Racing – Chad DeGroot: Get Back To Work

One of the perks of being your own boss, would be that you can decide when it’s time to take a break and screw off for a bit. When Chad DeGroot isn’t busy running his Bike Shop or Deco, he still manages to squeeze some riding time in… Even if it causes a bit of rule breaking. Profile Racing dropped a few clips from a flatland session Chad caught between all that work!

“The whole month of August, 2016, I am short staffed at my shop (Mr. B’s) so that means I am clocking a lot of hours solo. Today I got my whole list of work done plus cleaning, reorganizing and some bonus shores. Don’t get me wrong there is always something to do, plan, and work on. With DecoBMX in the back and MR in the front its two full time gigs under one roof. So staring at my new bike and knowing I have ridden a bit, inside my AC’d shop while its 100 degrees outside looked inviting. It just made sense to try a few things. Then a few more. All worked out but now the boss is telling me to “Get back to work”.” -Chad Degroot

Live From Madera BMX

Did you know that Madera products are made in the same exact factory as Profile Racing? After 11 years, we’re sure plenty of you are aware of that. Today, Matt Coplon popped up on Facebook Live to give you a little tour of the factory, along with some insight into how some of Madera’s products are made, like what the process is to get the Celestial colorway done. This also shows a fair amount of Profile Racing stuff being made, but it’s all pretty similar when it comes to the final product. Hit play and take the tour with Matt and learn a few things!

Profile Racing – Liam Eltham Signature Paisley Colorway

It looks like Profile Racing will be releasing a new limited edition colorway on August 1st! This time around Liam Eltham has received his own signature colorway, which he decided to go with the Paisley color that we’ve seen pop up in the past on different products. Based off the photos, it looks like the color will be available on Profile’s Mini and Elite hubs, along with their Push topload stem! These will be going fast, so make sure you hit up your local shop and tell them to get your pre-order in now!

Profile Racing X DIG – Slaughterhouse

The latest in the Profile Racing X DIG DIY Series takes us into the Slaughterhouse for a session. This spot might be tucked away and hidden a little bit, but what’s hiding inside is amazing. This place looks like a super good time to ride and there was a bunch of damn good riding that went down during the session! Take a peek!

“Over the course of several sessions, we did our best to document one of the most unique DIY setups in the state of Florida.
Coming out of urban legend, on each visit the Slaughterhouse slowly revealed itself: On our final session we interviewed a squatter living in one of several compartmentalized rooms, honey-combed into this century old warehouse. From his stories, we had finally gotten the true history of the dilapidated old building…and then two weeks later, the Slaughterhouse burnt to the ground.

This is a celebration and memorial to the SL, Profile’s 4th DIY documentary for the 2016 series.
Thanks to Colin Jensen, Brad Campo, and Ben Meyer for the hospitality.
And to Mike Waling for creating, what will forever remain, an Urban, DIY legend.

Profile Racing – How To Maintain the Z-Coaster

By now we’re all pretty familiar with Profile Racing‘s take on the freecoaster, the Z-Coaster Hub. What you might not be familiar with is just how to maintain this hub to keep it rolling. Ironically, Profile’s best recommendation for maintenance is to not take it apart unless there is some form of malfunction inside. So, if for some reason you have a malfunction inside and need to take it apart, they have a step by step guide on just how to do it and it appears to be quite easy, actually.
