At a time when pro BMXers were clean-cut athletes in race jerseys, Thorne earned the nickname ‘The Biker in Black’ by injecting a heavy dose of punk rock attitude and tattoo style. The multi-talent has appeared in blockbuster movies like ‘Mall Cop’ and ‘XXX’, hosted action sports TV programs, and today tours the world as a musician and stand-up comedian.

Boost Mobile dropped this new video from a series called “Pool Seekers” where Rick Thorne takes a crew to different pools. This episode takes Rick, Keith Treanor, Brian Castillo, Andrew Lazurk and a few other riders and skaters to the Furstcastle pool. Here’s a look at what everyone got into. This one is a little cheesy with the whole sneaking in and “getting caught”, but overall it’s a good watch. Check it out!

Pooling Around On Kids Bikes

Here’s a rad BMX video featuring John Estala, Dallas Dunn, Austin Weigel, Rick Thorne, Andrew Lazaruk, Andrew Luna and Garrett Acker catching a session in an empty pool, followed up by a bowl session at a local skatepark for your viewing pleasure! This is pretty laid back and more about cruising than tricks. Looks like they had a real good time riding all day long!
