If you follow Trey Jones or Simone Barraco on Instagram, you have probably saw them mention The Sk8board Conspiracy that they have been doing with Mark Burnett. Well, it turns out they’ve been taking it a little more serious and have released their first deck with The Shadow Conspiracy using the same graphics from their TreyMone Shirt that is inspired by Bevis and Butthead. We’re not quite sure what the specs are on the deck as far as size goes, but we do know you can pick one up for $59.99 in The Shadow Conspiracy Webstore/a> now!

Nike Shuts Down Europe BMX Team

It’s not just Kriss Kyle, the entire European BMX team for Nike has been let go…

Earlier today we caught wind that Kriss Kyle was off Nike, now it looks like the entire BMX program for Nike Europe is done according to Freedom BMX in Germany. That means Simone Barraco, Kriss Kyle, Alex Kennedy, Felix Prangenberg, Daniel Tünte and Moritz Nussbaumer will all be looking for some new shoes to wear when riding in the future. We’ve been hearing rumors that Nike is letting go their entire BMX program, but we haven’t seen anything from Dennis Enarson, Chad Kerley, Garrett Reynolds or Nigel Sylvester as of right now. Either way, it’s a bummer to see a big brand like Nike step away from BMX in Europe.

from today on I’ll no longer be riding for @nike // I can’t thank them and especially @achimkujawski enough for everything they did for me over the past 10 years?? It was a good time but sadly everything comes to an end at some point. On to the next chapter!

The Shadow Conspiracy are kicking your weekend off right with this new video featuring Simone Barraco getting down on street spots last summer. We’re not sure what took so long for this footage to come out, but we’re glad it did because Simone crushed it on everything he touched with his creative and effortless style. Take a look! “During a post XGames trip to Minneapolis and a tour through the Southwest there was a plan to film, but no plan of what would come of it. The footage was laid out and we realized we were sitting on something that had to be seen. Simone’s effortless style shows that there is no slowing him down or his unique take on riding. Subrosa In Color

Subrosa’s old filmer, Bobby Kanode, decided to release a video that might not have ever seen the light of day…

Anyone who has taken filming BMX serious has always dreamed of being paid to film for a brand or a video project. Bobby Kanode spent 3 years as the team filmer for Subrosa, which meant he spent his days traveling all over the place with the team filming for web videos, full-length videos and more. During his time he stacked a lot of clips, some were used, others weren’t and were just sitting on his hard drive waiting to be seen. The time has finally come, because Bobby has gone through and edited the clips into this full-length video that’s loaded with pure gold featuring their team riders, past and present, during that time frame. When Subrosa first started out, they did a lot of their projects in black and white, so that’s where the title comes from. Get the full story from Bobby below!

“From 2013 to 2016 I had the opportunity of a lifetime to be the filmer for Subrosa Brand. When it was all over I was left with a hard drive full of good times, and last year I chopped this video up to “clean out my closet.” I can’t say enough good things about all the boys, and I had the time of my life. This is kind of the DVD that never happened. Big thank you to Ronnie Bonner and Ryan Sher for having me for those years, and bigger shout out to the best team in BMX.

We’ve got a lot of recycled clips in here but they’re in color now, as well as brand new (yet still old) never seen section from Johnny (no longer on Subrosa) and a stacked friends section. Pretty hyped!

It’s always a good day when Mark Burnett and Simone Barraco have some new footage to check out. Here’s a look at a video Mark whipped up for The Shadow Conspiracy giving us a look at what he got into for riding during a stay in Barcelona with Simone last month. The filming quality isn’t top notch, but the riding definitely makes up for it with this one! You already know you can’t pass this up, so hit play and enjoy!

“For those of you who don’t know, which I assume is most, I used to make iPhone style web videos for my own YouTube channel. Basically they were just a regurgitation of anything I had on my camera roll, dumped over top of a Juicy J or Meek Mill song. With Instagram having video capabilities, it’s been a while since I’ve made a video like this but it’s definitely something I still enjoy doing. I wanted to bring it back, and so I did. Is it time for a new BMX Seat? You may want to hold out a little while longer since The Shadow Conspiracy will be releasing the latest Simone Barraco signature Penumbra Series 6 Pivotal Seat starting next month! This seat comes in White and Black color options, and can even be drawn on. Unfortunately these come blank, so if you were hoping to get one like Simone drew on his seat, you’re going to have to get good at tracing or something! We’ll have full details on the seat available when it drops here in just a few weeks!

Garrett Reynolds Wins Simple Session 2018 BMX Street Finals

Garrett Reynolds turned up the heat for his final run at Simple Session 2018…

The finals for BMX Street at Simple Session just wrapped up and Garrett Reynolds has landed on the top spot after turning up the heat in his final run in true Garrett fashion. Needless to say, everyone who was on the course for finals was throwing down from Broc Raiford to Reed Stark and his completely blown up ankle that he still managed to ride exceptionally well with.
