Scotty Cranmer – Ramp Ranch and Midnight Lake Jumping

Scotty Cranmer is back with another video! This time around Scotty, Big Boy, Matty Cranmer, Trey Jones and Brooklyn are back at the Ramp Ranch for a session on all the new ramps and a late night dip into the lake! As expected with all the footage that comes out of this place, plenty of amazing riding went down and there was no shortage of laughs and good times, too!

“We took a trip over to our friend JJ’s house to ride his amazing personal skate park called the ramp ranch! This place is so crazy and it is all handbuilt by JJ and he added new ramps since the last time we were there. When the session started everybody started riding and the tricks started happening straight away! Trey loved the set up and did some amazing lines. Matty rode awesome and he did a crazy manual from ramp to ramp with a drop underneath! Big boy and JJ ended the session with a crazy midnight Pitch black jump into the lake! Big boy did a crazy from flip Bill and he lost his bike in the lake! We had so much fun and we are excited to go back and ride the ramp ranch again!”

FloriDeah – Lake Jumps and Fireworks

BMX + Lake Jump + Fireworks + Fire = GOOD TIME.

Trey Jones dropped the latest FloriDeah video that’s nothing short of a wild time! This video kicks off with a bunch of Lake Jumping, followed up by a lot of explosions and fireworks fueled by booze and a thunderstorm, then wraps up with fire and more lake jumping. There’s definitely a Jason Levy sighting in this one that we’re sure will get some of you older guys stoked, too! Get a look at what went down! Safe to say this was a proper birthday party.

Gwar-BQ Lake Jumping Fiasco with FBM

The FBM crew always make it out when the GWAR crew throw a party. Here’s some raw clips from some Lake Jumping that went down this past weekend. This has some footage from some guys who had no business hauling ass into that ramp and some guys that might as well pick up their Pro lake jumping cards at the FBM tent. Oh, and there’s some guy who got what he had coming for being a party pooper. Check it!

FBM – 2015 Gwar-B-Q Lake Jumping

Last weekend at the annual Gwar-B-Q, the FBM crew setup a lake jumping spot for some of the people at the event to have a little fun. Well, it turns out that if you don’t have much of a BMX background, this is probably super painful and scary, haha. Watch as plenty of people fail miserably… and even a guy who just couldn’t quite make it.. in this video. Good laughs for sure.

Lake Jump

Anthony Laconte just sent through this rad video he put together from some of the lake jumping sessions they’ve been getting on Lake Michigan this summer! This honestly looks amazing right now since it’s going to be a hot one here today!

“It’s a wild and fun scene here in Chicago. Winters are miserable and so are the summers. As BMX riders, we have to find ways of using the weather to our advantage.
A group of BMX friends have made it summer tradition to launch their bikes off a homemade kicker at North Ave beach. Many riders around the area look forward to this Sunday sunrise session.
I finally made it out to one of these awesome get togethers and documented the fun that was had. I’m glad I went with on this day because these guys made a jump they’ve been planning for a while. We were limited to one jump because of severity of the premisis, but Alex Bedoya sent one and boy was it a good one! (last clip)

Chicago Lake Jumping

When the sun is blazing and it gets to the point that it’s just too hot to ride… Might as well build a kicker and get a proper lake jumping session in. Check out this video from a recent session that went down in Chicago where they dumped themselves right into Lake Michigan. This looks like a good time to me!

Salute to the 4th – Silverlake Contest Flyer

When you want things to change in your scene, sometimes you have to take the reigns and make things happen. For those of you that don’t know, we’re based out of Rochester, Minnesota. It’s not exactly the kind of place you would expect a site like this to be with so much of the BMX industry being in California, but we still make it work. One thing we have always done is worked to be involved with or making events happen up here to help bring the scene together and grow it. Recently, we were asked to work with a local group in the city to help out with a big 4th of July celebration that will feature live music, food and alcohol vendors, a car and motorcycle show and a BMX and skateboard contest. One of main goals of this event was to show the city council that there is a big BMX and skateboard scene to get them to see it’s time to expand the skatepark. Once we heard that, we were all for helping out with the BMX contest.

So, if you’re in the Minnesota area on the 4th of July, swing through Rochester and hit up the Silverlake Skatepark. We’ll be throwing the BMX contest at the park and we have a ton of prizes from our sponsors; The Shadow Conspiracy, Subrosa Brand, Fly Bikes, Profile Racing, Madera, Mutiny Bikes, Kali Protectives, Radio Bikes and Merritt, to giveaway!
