Sneak Peek: Mutant Bikes – Estrela Full Guard Sprocket

Here’s a little sneak peek look at the the Estrela full guard sprocket that Mutant Bikes are working on down in Portugal. This BMX sprocket is CNC machined to have a unique 5 spoke design that lets you rotate to 5 different bolt holes to get the most wear out of it. These photos are fresh out of the machine, so there will be some touch up and a coat of paint. What’s unique is that the sprocket will come in a 26-tooth size, as well as 28-tooth. We’ll keep you posted when it is available! Until then, get a few more details and more photos below!

Champi Galan Action Wheels / Urbankat 2017 Video

Champi Galan just hit us with his latest video for Action Wheels and Urbankat for your viewing pleasure. This video was filmed at Champi’s local park where he went to work putting his pegs to heavy use all over the place with a few tailwhips, big drops, barspins and more mixed in for good measure. The film work is a little rough, but the riding is solid. Check it!

Vans keeping their Rider Profile’s for the Vans BMX Pro Cup series flowing. You better believe Gary Young will be riding this contest and absolutely slaying the bowls in each country. Brian Kachinsky’s Puerto Rican Adventure 2017

The other week Brian Kachinsky had a little bachelor party down in Puerto Rico with Dave Friemuth, Chad DeGroot, Brian Hunt, Mike Escamilla, Andrew Brady, Kevin Porter and Aaron Bostrom, where the crew spent a week riding spots and exploring the island. This video that Dave put together shows what these guys got into on and off their bikes. As you can imagine with a crew like this, there was plenty of dialed riding and good times to be had. We’re pretty sure there has to be plenty of footage that didn’t make it into the edit that was probably hilarious, but… yeah… It’s safe to say these guys had a super good time during their visit. Anyone else reaaaaaally want to go to Puerto Rico right about now?

Nick Bonnell “Pickle Juice” Section

It’s always a bummer hearing about a rider tearing their ACL. It’s unfortunately a pretty common thing, which sucks. What doesn’t suck is that Nick Bonnell had a ton of footage stacked up for the “Pickle Juice” video and instead of it going to waste, we have this video to enjoy. If you love nose manuals, big grinds, tire rides and all around street destruction… This video will definitely peek your interest because it’s nothing short of awesome. It sounds like Nick has been through this before, so we can only imagine he’ll be back stronger than before sooner than later!
